Free program called Spek, lets you know the true bit rate. It tells me that that track is under 64kbps which is not great. Say someone sends you a song that they claim is FLAC or 320kbps, it may have just been copied from a lower quality source. If you run it through this you can tell

Nothing showed up when I tried to identify it with the Shazam app.
The production sounds different from the storage locker leaks. Can’t put it into words but this just has a different feel.

This is another one of the fake leaks from back in the day. Does anyone know anything about the band who did it? because I can find nothing on them at all. If someone posted it back in the day as a fake leak then I assume the scream at 34 seconds in was added by them. It reminds me of the scream sample in Absurd a bit. Again kind of like that "Oh the humanity" clip this seems like somthing Brain would come up with.

I had not thought of this interview in a while, but re-reading it after what we were blessed to hear in 2019 puts Axl’s interest in Moby’s work in a different light. Especially the part about there being lots of great instrumentals.
Ditto the reference to the Passengers project, which was U2 blowing off steam and experimenting, really for the same reason as the acoustic side of GNR Lies: To make music in a low-pressure environment in order to clear their heads.
Like WARose said those years don't really add up.
Also where is this guy bumping into Izzy? I bet he saw Fortus and got confused

For obvious reasons that’s not going to happen. Scans will just lead to more bootlegs. New photos is possible, have you guys not seen all the inlays and discs?
yeah photos but not scans of the backs, or inside the sleeves, there's some useful info in there a bit . On Quick Song for instance

While you guys are shooting the shit, GNR’s tour manager says a single is coming any day and they have a lot of stuff already recorded…..same old same old but the guy who said it seems credible
Yeah Tom Mayhue, apparently he has worked for them for 35 years or somthing crazy. Thing is he also said it knowing he was being filmed, I doubt he would have if Axl wasn't fine with it. I just wish that guy didn't cut him off in the video to ask him some radom question about where he lived
