I hear America blew up the German pipeline. If this was the old days there would be war, but now I guess Germany will just sit and take it.

Did Gertrude Stein write this show? Every scene be like "I don't want to get married!", "Childbirth is the worst thing in the world!", "I wanna be a boy and fight!".
Not a single character is likeable.
Daemon - He's a bad guy you see, that's why we call him demon in case you forget it. He's also impotent and a fool.
Viserys - A weak fool
Rhaenrya - A total bitch. I will fuck my uncle because that's what all the men do!
Valeryon - You must marry my 10 year old daughter or I will make an alliance with the enemy!
Crispin Cole - A boy toy
Alice - I'm married to the King and I have a beautiful son, my life sucks!
Otto - Your Grace!

Lol, thanks. Yes I've also gathered Hicks and Newt have a strange but fervent fanbase.
Is it directors cut? They call it the Assembly Cut so I just assume somebody else recut it.
Ranking the Alien movies is hard. I like all of them but I also think they each have something different to offer. Alien is atmosphere and visuals, Aliens is humor and entertainment, Alien 3 is horror and drama, Alien 4 is goofball action. Then you have Prometheus which is something entirely different and Covenant which is a mix of Prometheus and the old movies. In some ways they are all equal to me.
Watched the Hobbit movies again. They are not so bad. Some silliness but LOTR also suffered from that at times. I like how they are more casual, exploring many different things in Middle Earth. Compared to the Amazon series this feels like a masterpiece. A worthy complimentary trilogy to Lord of the Rings.

As much as I see Beta as the Yoko of GN'R I'm not sure she is to blame for Axl keeping silent. He did some pretty revealing interviews around the millennium and even went on the forums to chat in like 2010. My guess is that the negative feedback which he didn't get in their heyday is what is dissuading him now. Whenever he has said something in the last 20 years it is through mediums he can fully control, except the China exchange which is the only time he's done a real interview, and that too was a very friendly affair.
I think he feels beat down and it's not worth it anymore. Beta is guilty of feeding his little bubble world.

Alien 3 is quite the achievement considering the chaotic production and many rewrites. Not perfect because of all those things but there is a lot to like about the movie. There is dramatic depth that is absent from the other movies. The cast is very good. The music is superb. I'd also say it is the most scary due to the location and the way it is shot. Studio execs wanting to go cheaper may actually have turned out better in this case. The wooden monastery in space was a weird idea. Not sure it would have added much to the alien horror aspect. The labyrinthine tunnel complex in the dark, cold underground adds much more to the fear factor. Also having inmates instead of monks.
My favorite part though is how they just kill off Hicks and Newt in the opening credits. Cameron knows entertainment but it was a really dumb idea to include a child and a love interest in a horror franchise. They had to go and I love how ruthless they are about it. Adds to the movie and the franchise as a whole. It's a serious business and there aren't any happy endings.

Didn't they record it with like 50 or a 100 synths in a room?
Axl also said he would quit music if he could not record November Rain as he intended, so obviously he really wanted it like that.
Doing it with a real orchestra now is probably just a simple way of freshing up the song, or Axl changed his mind since then.

I lost most of the leaks when my comp crashed 3-4 years ago, but i do remember "Oklahoma" having a riff that sounded like something Slash himself had written. Was there more than one version of this song, or anything with vocals? I thought it was by far the closest to vintage GN'R of any of the leaks. I still have SOG and have always liked it.
No vocals for Oklahoma in the leaks.

I've been watching a lot of videos like that from WW2 and my immediate conclusion was that Russia is in big trouble. Their mobile warfare strikes ended already in early April, instead opting for a much more limited offensive, grabbing tiny pieces of territory. Last month or so they haven't even been able to do that and are now being pushed back hard by Western backed Ukrainians.
He needs to start a general mobilization if he wants any hope of success, but probably Russia does not have that capability without potentially getting into a lot of trouble if they lose. Currently you can pack up and lick your wounds. Not so if you put Russian society on a total war footing.

Good song if true, but doesn't exactly quench the rumors there are no more recorded vocals than what was in the leaks. If that is true we are never getting an albums worth.
