How was Axl rehearsing if Frank was in the UK? If that is true Frank may have been a last second modification. Maybe the line up isn't 100% yet.
Axl never rehearsed with the bands. And him rehearsing his voice to get it in shape doesnt need the band. He just needs to practice his vocal techniques.

I was totally wrong on the reunion. for the last 5+ years I was convinced it would never happen. I had no hope whatsoever. I'm blown the fuck away. just seeing Slash posting shit as part of GnR. and hearing rumors that they could release new music together. it's unreal.

Only reason its happening is because first Tommy quit, then BBF, then DJ all in a short time span. Axl figured why rebuild another GNR just to play the great hits set list when he can make way more money having the core of the band that wrote them.
Its a business decision by Axl to go back with Slash. If those guys never quit this wouldn't be happening.
I am glad DJ and BBF quit because i thought they both sucked. I stopped caring about new gnr after Robin quit, he was the last straw after BH and Brain leaving.
Richard and Tommy were still great , but I couldn't stand BBF and DJ and Frank just sucks on the drums

If it's the only shot at seeing Axl and Slash together I have no problems doing it. I have the extra money so it's not a big deal to me. If other dates are in the making I will pass on Coachella. Although a few friends of mine have expressed interest in going not just for guns but other acts on the bill so I may go just to visit friends in Cali and enjoy festival with the added bonus of Slash, Duff, and Axl.
You are better off going to see them at Coachella for a few reasons. One you can see a lot of good bands and not just GNR. Two it will be the first reunion show of the band so it will be extra huge and special. And three its one of the best chances you have that Izzy and maybe even Adler will play . If Izzy is only going to play a couple of shows, i could see Coachella being one of them. And finally, go see them just incase they break up again before the end of the tour. lol

I don't think Kushner will be involved. I think Mitch just picked it up from reports by click-bait sites that picked up on Daves tweets. You never know though, maybe he is.
As for Pitman he's been there since the late 90's and probably worked with Axl more than anyone else in the band (especially recently given the posts by Beta and Pitman being at Axl's multiple times). I really would have been surprised if he wasn't there.
it would make zero sense for Dave to be in a GNR reunion tour. He has never been in guns n roses. AT least with Fortus he has been in the band for close to 15 years. And its not like Slash will ever split his solos with anyone like Finck and BH were doing or DJ and BBF.
Slash will play his solos and Fortus will do Izzys stuff or maybe the double slash guitar parts from the UYI stuff. There is no need for Dave at all.
Also with Izzy i could easily see him doing the two Coachella shows then dropping in for some one off shows here and there.
i really hope he is not in. Also would suck if its Frank but maybe just get Adler and let Frank be there incase Adler faulters or let Adler do the AFD stuff and Frank do the UYI stuff if Axl won't let Matt play
Ideal would be Adler and Matt.

I hope for the best that he stays clean for the next couple months and is allowed to play some shows.
They can always let him play the AFD stuff then have Frank play the rest or just have Frank there as a back up incase Steven falters.
I would say let Matt and Steven split the sets but Axl hates Matt so that probably won't happen.

Today saw Acquiesce, YG, KV, Evader,etc. in one shot. I was shocked as I've known all of them for years yet haven't seen them in years. A few weeks ago mrsaxlrose came back who I hadn't seen since the ROV days. Furbush came back when Weiland died. More people as well but I think you're referring to the old timers from HTGTH.
Get a few more walking through the door and it'll really feel like HTGTH back in 2005.
Where's Axlin?
There's still some who are MIA.
Once we get a single or they play a show, I bet even more will come back.
