I mean, he is a better drummer than Frank... I don't think that is up for debate. So in the studio he would be fine and I think on the road he would be manageable. I bought his Alder album and it was great!
he's not a bad drummer. well at least he was a GREAT drummer. 30 years ago. but as a personality, he's shitty. same as Matt Sorum. both these guys were great drummers in their respective eras, but as a personalities, they are a wasted idiot and a douche. Josh Freese was a monster. Brain was too. sorry, but I don't think it's relevant to ask some 30 years old history to come back. Adler proved himself to be a stupid wasted idiot, so fuck him.

not sure why I post it here, but The Dead Daisies' Lock N' Load just stuck in my head for some reason and I can't switch it off. in my opinion, the only melody recorded/released by Slash since Contraband days. because Libertad was meh and I can't stand the solo albums. but this song is really beautiful, with classic Slash all over it.

And The General. Silkworms. The remix album. Oh My God with Bucket. I think most of the songs are out there if not all. Once someone gets a hair up their ass things will leak, that means pulling a major con job. They've been teased over different times. There's just too many people who have them. They still have value right now.
uhh... I think I got it wrong from chat history.
Madagascar without the speech is in fact the Rock Band 2 version, so it's not to leak at all, sorry.
from the list, I only know 100% sure that one guy has complete tracks of all those 16sec snippets, and is willing to exchange them for other unleaked stuff, like Jackie, Atlas or other things. yes, those Atlas versions are known to exist, but not confirmed to be floating somewhere out of the public, so maybe nobody has them.

Jackie Chan (1999 demo, supposedly from the same batch as CITR and TWAT '99)
Atlas Shrugged (demo with Brian May, supposedly 2 versions exist)
Atlas Shrugged (2006 version with BBF guitar)
those 4 tracks with BBF guitar in left channel we have 16sec snippets of
those 2 tracks from Brain remixes we have 16 sec snippets of
1 more Brain remix song (unknown which one, also unknown if hoarded)
that's all I know.

I strongly, strongly doubt anyone here would leak it. or anyone anywhere else. my educated guess is that the hoarders will keep those demos forever and in the end everything gets just forgotten. just like VMAs 2002 rehearsals footage and a few more similar oddities from the past.

What's interesting to me is that of all the latterday members, Tommy's songwriting is probably closest to Izzy's in style. I'd love to hear the two of them do something together.
yup, that one sounds very Izzy-ish. and Tommy's voice as well

I don't think it's even remotely fair to compare some guys 50 years apart

the singer is trash, that's for sure. both Snakepit singers were really good, Scott Weiland was also great (RIP). that Myles guy sucks bad, in my opinion.

Wrong. Fake News.
Since 2010 Slash solo has done nothing but crank out kick ass songs and tour the world. Name one kick ass rock song Bucket wrote that got any traction.
as much as I love both Snakepit and the first VR album, I also absolutely dislike his solo stuff. it's a steaming pile of shit, not really sure why it received so much critical praise... maybe the big name did all that.
