Another Year, another disappointment.
What a shit Reunion.
7 fuckin years = 2 old demos re-rerecorded.
I really thought we were finally getting a New album last year when they released "Absurd", but instead we just got another stupid plan (every song a single) that they will never follow through on.
I give up,
Fuck GNR, the most Disappointing Band in the World.

This tour doesn't even have a name. NITL is over and now they're just.... existing
This reinforces my point.
They initially floated promoting new legs with all new shows, set lists, whatever...but this was quickly dropped because they don't have a clue what they're doing.
So now it's just "Go to the show!"
I'd love to have been a fly on the wall in the room with Slash and Duff at various times throughout the reunion.
They completely mishandled the 'Not In This Lifetime" slogan/concept.
This just begged to be the Hell Freezes Over of the 21st century. Instead of a huge release...they just ran it into the ground with diminishing returns until dropping it.
That reminded of the 2016 cover story in Classic Rock magazine about the GnR Reunion.
The 2nd biggest story in the issue was a tribute to The Eagles Glenn Frey who had recently died.
And just like that He'll Freezes Over became Not In This Lifetime.
Made me think, If they devil is keeping score, he needed a new horse in the race.

The CDs shipped end of January.
In fact this recent Brazil edition had writing credits that skip over the real credits for Hard Skool and Absurd and instead credit both songs to "Guns N Roses", while Don't Cry and You're Crazy have the correct credits

I always prefer smaller shows (500-5000) or big stadium shows. Anything inbetween always feels like the inconveniences of larger shows without any of the "pageantry" of stadium rock shows i.e. pyro, big huge stadium singalongs etc.
It's too bad they don't even use Pyro anymore.
The new 2021 show used Flames on video screens instead

I got a tracking number but the package still has not left the distributer.
Why move up the release date and then drop the ball and never mail them out?
This band is one failure after another
Can't even be trusted to self release a single & EP.

I'm still mad at the mock up pictures that clearly show a 12" record.
Did they find out after the fact that the 3 songs could fit on a 7" and cost them less money to produce?

Only $45 lol

Yes, but this was a remastered form without long silences and many more things... But well.
That's life.
I'm going to "recreate" the 2004 version now.
I will check it out.
Send me the link
