This is a perfect example of why bands bring out the best in everyone.
Lush orchestration, great arrangement, all let down by Roger's worst tendencies and vocal limitations.

We're at day 6 and it's at 2.1M on YouTube, already surpassing the cringe, weeks-late Hard Skool lyric video.
Anyway, I liked this.

Since we're posting strange band jams...
That reminds me... does anyone have the 2006 set list picture with Prostitute on it?
I deleted all my old files

Part of the intro is in that clip is clearly looped but that's a way, way more engaging intro than the CD one.
It sounds like Jaws or something.
Imagine it leading into a tear your throat out riff.
That would be so killer.

If they ever release the vault, I hope it includes all the abandoned artwork we've never seen.
But yeah in 2006, they started to form a new era of the band. The giant curtains, new insignia, and so on.
And like most things from the Chinese era, barely scratched the surface.

Yep. The 2001 version of New Gn'R has cult favorite written all over them.
The underground club band slowly slithering up the streets near you.

It was never clear to me how much % of the algorithm fed off of fan-made playlists.
As far as HasItLeaked, I remember people taking stock in their "new GnR album" post in 2019. I'm guessing they heard whispers of an album then. But this is fairly brazen and putting their credibility (how much they have, I don't know) on the line.
If we're getting:
August - Perhaps
September - The General
October - ???
November - Atlas Shrugged
Does this mean the singles stop in November as a 4-song EP?
I know people would be mad if we got Oh My God in October but I honestly wouldn't be mad. I've always liked that song and the poppier makeover we got in 2011? rehearsals was cool.

It's not complicated.
If you're naturally talented, you can get away with bad habits until you get older, the competition gets better, the money dries up, and/or you have an injury. Every industry relies on endless churn. You're Elvis? So what, we have The Beatles now. And so on down the line.
I recently heard that artists should "think like artists, work like accountants".
Axl still to this day has never developed this skill.

I wonder if Merck really thought "Hard School" wasn't that good or it was just his inner hype man taking over.

Never had The General.
Just being punny, friend.
