Just to put this in context, with the economy crumbling and whatnot..
Taylor Swift (a country singer, and bonafide hottie) - released her new CD on Tuesday. The thing sold over 600,000 copies in ONE DAY. It'll be platinum before the week is over.
There's no reason that CD can't or won't do the same. Save the doom and gloom until we see what the plans are for after it's release.

I'm starting to think McCain was the sacrificial lamb because the GOP didn't have anyone worthy of running and they knew this election would basically be a referendum on the Bush years. The fact McCain is so close really shows what a weak candidate Obama is.
McCain still has a shot and this election should be Reagan landslide territory.
Ron Paul, had he received the nomination, would have won EASILY.

since you know then...is this a decent first showing for a single? like how does it rate along side other big name acts?
Well, being that I work at the country station in the same building (our studio is next door to their's), I don't hear all that much "new rock", and what little I have, I don't care for. AT ALL.
I talked to the PD about it the other day, and he likes it. He basically said that it was a good choice for a first single and a good choice for the format. He can see it doing pretty good. Most of the jocks on there at least agree that it's a decent song - not their favorite by any means, but it was the best choice for the active/modern rock format.

The station that I work with, WBSX in Wilkes-Barre has been playing it constantly since it first came out, and they've been getting TONS of requests for it.

pretty good for one week IMO...it kinda came out of the blue with little to no promotion
we've already seen promo in Canada so i can only assume US promo will begin shortly and as we wind down to the release
the movement of this single over the next couple weeks is important..thanks for posting burning!
