Wait a second?  Is this the ultra-shitty old version or the new Ghostbusters that came out this year featuring all of the original cast?  Only a couple hours into the new one, but it feels like Ghostbusters 3.  Picks up the story from the films and there's lots of references and throwbacks to 1 and 2.  Awesome game so far.

But, assuming we're talking old school GB here, I'm voting for Gears.  Epic game!

Tough call.  I'm a super Zelda fanatic, but Twilight was kind of a letdown for me.  Tetris was definitely huge.  I remember getting carsick all the time playing it on the shitty black & white gameboy in the back of our station wagon driving to grandma's or wherever.

On mere play hours alone, I went with Tetris.

I don't think I'll ever match the sense of video game achievement I had when I first beat Ghosts n't Goblins.  That was one bitch of a game!

Come on guys!  Nobody's coming to Tokyo? tongue

Shit.  I loved the old-school Metroids and immediately voted in that direction.  Though James made an excellent argument about multiplayer, that almost makes me want to change my vote.

I guess the question here is whether to vote simply based on which I enjoyed more, or on which game is better in terms of historical importance...

As much as it pains me, gotta vote for what pays the bills.

Burnout Paradise?  My current addiction.  Or how about Mass Effect?

I already voted though...

And yeah if I had to pick one Madden it'd be Madden 2000.  I played that game with my roomates in college that year and we did franchise mode and played like 10 seasons.  Veterans retired, rookies we drafted who were made up guys retired we played so many seasons.  It was great.

Excitebike barely made my cut, it was in contention with Crash Bandicoot (Sony Playstation).  Either one would do.

In case anyone needs a refresher on games from your youth.  Here's a list of NES games, I'm sure wikipedia has other game systems too.

Damn....I wasn't even thinking arcade (funny seeing that the title is arcade madness - wasn't it video game madness first?).  In fact, that could be an elmination in itself - classic arcade games.
