I'm just looking at it. If the mixes are agreed, mastering can take a day, and it takes 2-3 working days to get on streaming platforms.

I'd imagine a longer time frame, but who knows.

That's true man, but we dont know that they agreed

I know, that's it.

I mean it's circumstantial but would they pose for a picture after hearing the mixes if they hated them? lol possibly not

Hopefully that's the minimum. I'm just hoping for a Haily Mary pass and we get a real EP out of this tour cycle.

It won't be very soon i think, if they were picking mixes then it hasn't been mastered yet, but when it is then there's no real stages left untill release.

Used to take about a 4 week turnaround when something had been handed in for it to be ready for release & I think thats less now due to streaming. I'm gonna say probably within 2 months, or November possibly

There it is.

The only real questions now are when will we get this...and exactly what.....

Well surely Perhaps & The General given there on setlist, I wouldn't expect any more than that this year though

Im aware that the guy works on live recordings.

It doesn't change anything...does he only work on live recordings?

It can't be a coincidence that this picture comes out when people are expecting something. GNR doesn't have a lengthy track record keeping us updated...and how often have they kept us up to speed on listening to live mixes of previous shows in preparation for the next show?

It's essentially a coin flip...and I'll remain cautiously optimistic regardless of how many concerts one of the guys in the studio has mixed.

It might be a coincidence, but nothing GN’R (Axl) does ever makes sense.

I’m sticking with the idea that they were listening to live mix of the Tons of Rock gig (which is what it says), to most likely better prepare for Glastonbury.

If we get new music coming soon, that would be great, but this recent photo doesn’t confirm anything to do with that.

The studio wouldn't elaborate, but it was studio recordings mixed in LA they were listening to.

At that level of the industry I'd imagine that there is a degree of specialisation, yeah. Though IIRC Caram Constanzo works on both live and in-studio material, so who knows?

Caram’s live mixes of GN’R are terrible. Getting anyone else in there to do it instead of him is bound to be an improvement

They really are.

Didn't someone post the other day that a studio type from Oslow had been in studio with Slash recording guitars or something? There was a pic with him and Slash cant find it now, Was Slash in the same shirt? The guy said something like "I cant say much about it, but his guitars sounded amazing" or something like that

Some in the comments believe it's to listen to mixes of the show they they did to prepare for Glasto. That makes no sense whatsoever as a stadium in Oslow will not have the same acoustics as Glastonbury, A lot of people seem to be finding ways to talk them selves out of it happening and I get why.

However the most likely thing is probably true. We have been told new songs are coming, two of those songs have been spotted on a setlist & now there listening to mixes.

Seems pretty clear to me

It’s not about recording new music though, and the live sound thing sounds legit, especially when there’s another post featuring a picture the sound guy, and mentions that he does live sound for all the big rock bands. The guys name is Dave Natale.

I hate to burst everyone’s bubble of excitement, but this is nothing to do with new music, and everything to do with sounding good at Glastonbury

I'm not saying there recording new music, i'm saying they may have been listening to new mixes of recorded stuff. (eg) ""yeah lets have that version of Perhaps, where the solo is a bit higher in the mix"

They could be mixes of live stuff that could be put out as bonus tracks/ B sides but given some of the live stuff they have put on YT I'm not sure they care about that
