Watched some lesser De Palma.

Domino - Probably his worst. Opening sequence is the only thing that's barely watchable. Like he just gave up after that. Suddenly you find yourself in a Muslim terror plot.

Sisters - Decent idea, not very well executed. The beauty of the actress playing the lead character was the main take away.

Obsession - Just a mental plot. Older handsome dude is obsessed with his young wife, she dies in a kidnapping plot orchestrated by his business partner, who then proceeds to set him up in a romantic relationship with his daughter (who's in on this scheme). Dude thinks his daughter is dead so when he discovers she is alive he is ecstatic and they have a big hugging scene at the end. Only thing I could think of was the fact they must have had sex.

What's Teddy Roosevelt going to do when Congress is utterly beholden to special interests and the media is their extended enforcement arm?

The only way Trump was going to get anything done is if he'd declare himself a tyrant and start a civil war.

I want this but it's crazy expensive. Is there something in there that is really worth it?

With the decades long mismanagement of democrats and republicans I wonder when we will see independent Presidential candidates start to win elections. Like ancient Rome where the popularis bypassed the traditional forms of government to gain power.

Then again maybe the machine is too strong.

This is when we are supposed to speculate that because SCOM is in a new Marvel movie there could be (definitely would be) a horse trade deal with a new song in another movie to promote the alb..I mean tour.

I'm not sure if help is the right word.

Is this a real movie? It feels like a spoof.

In a sense Gilmour did the same thing Axl did, continue on with the band when he had no business doing so. At least Axl put together some very talented people for his new iteration, Gilmour didn't even do that. Sure he had Mason and Wright but Nick never wrote anything and Rick was spent in that area. And so was David. It was solely a cash grab.

I wonder how Roger feels about him doing this because of the war. David always said he didn't want to do politics and get involved with those issues, but here is releasing a new song for the first time in like 30 years because of politics, and clearly taking a side too.
