Slash had to leave so we could be where we are today. All this had to happen the way it did.
yup, I can see things the same way. without GNR effectively imploding, we would never get TONS of awesome stuff from all the side-projects and we would never know all the guys that came and went

THIS! I keep saying this for a long time. I don't really care too much about Seeker (if they keep it, okay), but LALD and KOHD are soooooo fucking unneccessary.

she's like from another galaxy, compared to the other guys. a bunch of 50-ish rock stars compared to 20-ish girl that looks like from some manga comics or just like an alien. definitely could be one of the guys' daughter, the difference is so massive. but still somehow she fits in that picture, which is part surprising, part nice to see. I ain't even mad

Am I allowed to say that Slash's take on the Bucket solo in TWAT is good but his take on the first Robin solo is not?
well, based on the previous experience with TIL solo (first one bad, second one much better and keeps improving), I'd just give it a few more takes. Slash usually likes improvising on each solo (as did Buckethead at Nightrain, too!) and I think it's gonna be fine
