Like I said, CD, the blues, and Madagascar they had been playing for 10 years, so I am not counting them. My point is half of the so called "new song's" they have been playing for ten years.

If you want to go one step further, they are basically still playing the 2006 set list with one or two songs extra. 

You would think he would be breaking out songs from CD that they have not been playing for the past 5-10 years.

Why not play prostitute, scraped, if the world, or riyadh more often? They have only played riyadh like what 4 times live total?  They should be playing at least 10 CD songs a night, every show.

The Canada leg of the tour is how every show should be.

Younger Gnr fans who just buy the GHs album, yes but any Gnr fan over 30 knows who Izzy is.

Izzy was a huge factor in the fans eyes, you ask most old school Gnr fans, when it was be beginning of the end and most will say when Izzy left.  Hell I know alot of my friends think Izzy was the real talented song writer in Gnr. 

The fact is Axl has not had a hit without Izzy in the band.

Yeah he took it back after he knew people didnt want to hear the CD songs. And last time I checked axl is not the only person in the band, so the other musican's are covering the AFD band and the CD version of the band.

And  you would think if Axl thinks he is guns n roses and the real talent of the band, then he would want to showcase the songs he wrote without the AFD./UYI band instead of rehashing songs he wrote 20 years ago

Axl always said he wanted to prove people wrong, and he was just getting teary eyed thinking about it, but the funny thing he, they were proven right.

Axl knows unless he plays mostly old songs no one will give a shit about him. That is why he kept the name guns n roses instead of changing the band name.

And guns n roses is NOT his band, it was Axl, Slash, Izzy and Duffs. They are the ones who made GNR huge not just axl.

500,000 for an album that was supposed to save rock, and is from guns n roses is as huge bomb. Anyone who claims CD didnt bomb in the states is in denial.  CD fell of the charts superfast yet GHs is still in the top 100, how did CD not bomb?

As for chidish behavior, what behavior would that be? Telling the truth about this band? I am sorry if some people cannot handle the truth.  Ask any Gnr fan not on these boards if CD was a success, no one will tell you it was. You dont even hear CD songs on the radio, you didnt a few months after CD dropped.  That is bombing. 

As for your claim about fans not complaining about the stones or other  bands playing their hits, first off this band is not guns n roses. Its just Axl land a cover band.  Second, like I said before, Axl said back in 1991 he wanted to BURY AFD and said he wanted to put it behind him, yet he keeps playing those songs.

And the biggest joke is you now have the current band covering what the AFD band wrote and what the CD era band wrote.  This band is just a bunch of nonamed players and Axl.  If Ron or DJ were fired or left, do you really think kanyone would care or even notice besides a few posters on these boards? Of course not. The current line up is just a generic rock band playing AFD cover songs.

Axl could easily play the hits and a CD heavy set list. 

All the fans really care about hearing is WTTJ,Brownstone,SCOM, PC, Nov Rain and patience.  They could easily play those songs every night, plus a few others from AFD or UYI, then play 10 CD songs.

That would make 10 classics and 10 CD songs, but no they dont do that because they know the fans dont care about the CD songs, you are making my point.

Axl shouldnt just call it the greatest hits tour.
