Vito Bratta is an excellent guitarist who unfortunately has mostly disappeared.
Its a real shame. I finished Pride last night and heard most of Big Game before knocking out, and I really liked them both.

The Def Leppard CD's I ordered from Amazon, Pyromania and Hystaria, came yesturday and I've listened to them both already. Fucking awesome albums, I'm glad I made the purchase. I think the moment I enjoyed most was on Hysteria, the track Gods of War. As if listening to these albums wasn't enough of trip back in time, the song ends with sound bites of Ronnie Reagan. Lovin' it.
And staying on my 80's hair metal kick/lastest obsession, I rediscovered White Lion. I came across a really positive review of their album Pride, and it peaked my interest because they compared the lead guitarist to EVH, and I remembered their song When the Children Cry. So I'm listening to that album now, pretty awesome as well.
Here's a fun fact about White Lion. They had a couple of big albums in the late 80's early 90's, broke up, reformed to put out an album in 2008, but the only original member was the lead singer.

This might be a little off topic, but is it just me or are we starting to see a come back of classic hard rock? Allot if great music has been coming out lately.

Just listened to it on groove shark, and I agree with Less, way over produced. Also, the longest solo by Richie is about 4 seconds long. :-/ One song stood out to me though ”What's Left of Me”. Its a working class anthem, and it hit home.

You might be able to convert the analog recording to a DVD quality recording. Not completely loss less, but much better than the CD.
#668 Re: Guns N' Roses » Hear Chinese Democracy On Vinyl! » 642 weeks ago
That makes sense. The vinyl is supposed to be an imagine of the original sound wave, if your converting that to digital at a bit rate higher than the average CD (16 bit), than you should get a better sound quality than the CD. The higher the bit rate, the less sound will be lost. So if YouTube allows for HD audio, and your equipment can record at a higher bit rate, I think it could work.

What I took from Reed is the same old story, there is a ton of stuff in ” the vault”. I don't think the two interviews are mutually exclusive, it seems they both suggest the band is working on releasing CD era songs.

Haven't even heard the dam thing and I'm already disappointed, lol. The album art is pretty cool at least.
