So we could be without a lead guitarist AND a bass player? Where could we possibly find 2 guys to fill those roles? Just kidding.
I'm not buying this story,,,,,,,,,, yet.

Yeah that's the most important part. I believe the list comes from a legitimate source, but if it does or doesn't, that doesn't guarantee anything. It's a forecasted release date. We've gotten a tentative release date before and that didn't work out too well. Until we get a concrete, for sure, worldwide release date I don't think it's worth getting up in arms over this.

Great post.
I don't believe this list is a lie, and i think Mysteron is completly wrong this time. He took the wrong horse to bet on this time, and he's now broke.
This site happens to deliver real news, and i think Mysteron is a little jealous because someone knows something he doesn't.
Just because he hasn't heard it, it doesn't make it false.
Guys I think you're jumping the gun here or missing the point. Mysteron did not say the document was fake. He simply said, he hadn't seen the list. That doesn't mean he thinks it's doctored or untrue. How can he be wrong about saying he hasn't seen something? I think some people took his comments as negative and ran with it, you're right there. But I don't see it that way. If he came out and said it was a fake, we'd have a different story. But he didn't do that.

Ugh, I really hope Axl has no more control over when the album comes out. If not, a couple more of these reviews and we can forget about the album altogether...
That being said, the last paragraph really hits the nail on the head.
So you're just gonna disregard all the positive reviews the song has gotten? That doesn't seem fair. This is the first negative review I have read. Is this reviewer the end all be all of all reviewers? Whatever he says is gospel? After all, as shitty as he thinks the song is (even though he said it was catchy after a few listens), he did say it would be commercially successful. I think he's right there, if the band ever releases it that is.

Cowboys D problems really don't matter, do they? I mean, who can outscore them. Maybe the Eagles, but they couldn't Monday. Patriots? Not now. Indy? Two seasons ago, maybe. New Orleans, Chargers? Not with those defenses.
I hate to even suggest it, but, how about the Giants? They've looked pretty good so far, granted haven't played the best of competition. But they ARE the defending champs. Their offense looks solid and their defense IS solid. I'm not saying the Giants can outscore the Cowboys, but their defense could contain them possibly. Again, I hope I'm wrong. I don't like the Giants, just thought I'd throw that out there.
How about the Packers. They've got a pretty solid all around team, both offense and defense. I guess we'll find out soon enough when the 2 teams square off this weekend.
I'll say this, and it is still really early in the season. But at least for now, it appears that the balance of power in the NFL has shifted to the NFC. Things can change though.

"obtained", but when was it created? It has the info for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd quarters. We're almost in the 4th quarter. I would think, if it was created recently, it would only show the 4th quarter schedule. If, it was created in late 2007, they may have thought the album was coming out in the 4th quarter, but things have changed. On the other hand, they may have just added the 4th quarter to an existing document, which has the previous quarters releases. Was this a document that a distributor or retailer had, or a document from Universal?
That's how I took it. A forecast of Q4 releases, with the releases from the previous 3 quarters included. Mysteron said he hadn't seen THIS list, but had seen one for the first 3 quarters and GNR wasn't on that one. So this would have to be pretty new. It would make sense if it was created last month or sometime during the summer.

Brett, I understand where you're coming from, but I don't think you can single one person out for breaking up Guns N' Roses. Hell, Slash himself doesn't even blame Axl for the breakup. He puts more of the blame on Izzy and Steven leaving/getting kicked out. They all played a part, there's no use in trying to cast one single person as the guilty party.

Coming out or not coming out aside, this might be the only time we see this on any internal release schedule. I would imagine Azoff and the label want to keep the release date as secretive as possible, for as long as possible. The last time I chatted with a few who are deeply embedded in the industry they claim GNR camp and Universal are still at odds. The label wants a reunion prior to releasing Axl's opus, believing sales would double and fans would be more forgiving and open to the album if a reunion happened prior to the release. Makes sense in a weird way. Obviously, the label also understands the predicament Axl is in, but are less forgiving as they gave him the option to keep funding for the project even if he changed the bands name or produced it as a solo effort. In hindsight, either of those options would have been the way to go--as he now risks tarnishing the GNR brand, and the label knows it. The label has put their best offer on the table, and they are not budging. No one in the know blames them.
DISCLAIMER--this is based upon a chat with folks who do work in the industry, but are not by any means privy to the very private negotiations between Azoff and Iovine. From what I gather, barely anyone at Universal or Frontline have a clue, as the negotiations are very proprietary in nature.
I don't know if I buy the thought that a reunion would help increase sales for CD. Theoretically, why would people want to buy an album for a new version of Guns N' Roses if they just saw the old version a month before? Unless they're being tricked into buying CD under the impression that it's material from the old lineup. I mean, obviously the brand name, Guns N' Roses, would get a huge boost from a reunion. But I just don't see how that would help sell the new band. People already don't consider them GNR, they don't need to be reminded so openly right before they unleash the beast.

come on guys, after so many years you surely have learned a thing or two about these kind of stuff
oh i see mysteron is also mentioned here....read back all his posts, hints, insider info on htgth....90% of what he told turned out bs....
giving that troll too much cred folks
Well Mysteron said he never saw the list, so by your rationale the list is LEGIT and CD WILL be out in November. Thanks for clearing that up.

CC, ESPN First Take was pumping the Bills this morning, though I think it was a columnist from the Buffalo area or something to that effect. He said the Bills will win the AFC East this year. And here in New England, on Fox Sports New England last night they said that the Bills are the major challengers for the Pats, not the Jets. They went on to point out how talented and well coached Green Bay is, and THAT is the reason Favre had such a good season last year. He finally listened to the coaching staff and they put him in the perfect position to be successful. Goes to show you how overrated Brett Favre is. People just expected the Jets to compete for a playoff spot because of him. He can't do it all by himself. Back to the Bills, they're a very solid team. Very good D, good running game, Edwards is playing solid. Very good chance at some post-season football in Buffalo this year.
As for the Cowboys, I've got to agree with CC here again. Sorry Bono. As good as the Cowboys are on paper, and they're quite talented on offense. Their defense is far from elite, they gave up some huge plays to Philly. Far too many, they have to shore that up and I'm not convinced they have the personnel to do that. And Romo is a great QB, but as CC said, he does seem prone to making big mistakes at crucial times. Kind of like, BRETT FAVRE. He's still young though, so there's time to grow out of that. Favre never could, he still makes stupid decisions.
