Bills win again, this time it was very tough, but I'm feeling pretty confident now. Jacksonville seems to be the toughest game until after the bye, and now with Oakland, St. Louis, and Arizona it's possible the Bills could be 5-0 going into the bye. I'm not expecting that, but even 4-1 would be really nice. Edwards has another fine game, the D holds up fairly well, and although Special Teams struggled they made a few plays towards the end to seal the deal.
Pats and Jets both look bad. Wish they would've shown Chargers/Broncs instead, I don't know why they assume I'd rather see the Pats-Jets. Didn't see the Packers game but watched the score scroll across the bottom line and it looked crazy.
Carolina may end up being a serious contender out west.
Pats won, it may not have been pretty, but it doesn't have to be. A win, is a win, is a win. There's no style points in football. They controlled the game throughout, it was never in doubt. So while it may not have been pretty, it was efficient.
Bills should beat Oakland and St. Louis, 2 of the league's worst teams. But don't sleep on Arizona, I'd say they're the favorites in the NFL's worst division right now. The Pats/Jets game was the clear choice for the national game. The Brett Favre factor, Cassel in for Brady, that's why you got that game instead of Chargers/Broncos. Plus, regionally, if you're on the east coast you're not getting that game either. Chargers did get hosed on that call. In my opinion that was far worse than the "tuck rule". Of course, I'm a little biased. I love the tuck rule.

Reckless Road is excluded from that statement, and unfortunately I have yet to pick that up.
Canter is a good guy, that's one of the few to have seen it from all sides.
It's really good, I highly recommend. I thought it would be mostly pictures, which it is, but it contains a lot of interesting information. Lots of stuff I never heard of before. And it's not biased one way or another. Canter was childhood friends with Slash, and still is friends with him. But he's also close with Axl, so he gives a fair assessment of all parties.

Neemo wrote:see for me (going with that mindset axlin08) i am the kinda guy who will support any thing that axl or slash release as long as the product is something that they endorse...for instance i never bought hollywood rose cuz axl didnt agree with it...i dont buy unauthorized bios, i dont buy tributes to gnr, i didnt buy gnr greatest hits....these products were not endorsed by those guys but have the gnr moniker on them
especially the GH package....i mean if axl and slash can agree on something then that really says alot...and trying to block the release of GH was somethign that they both agreeed on...prolly the only thing they have agreed on since TSI was released
Agreed. I only own what's endorsed by the band.
I just have a real problem giving money to people who are trying to make money off of the GN'R name. A name that was built by other men. One could pose that argument to the new band, but the difference is they are offcially sanctioned members of Guns N' Roses who contributed to future albums. I'll buy their solo records too, even former members such as Bucket or Izzy.
But when it comes to these cash grabs by other people, such as Hollywood Rose or the tribute albums, i'll only download for free just to hear what it's like. Most of the time I puke, and then delete it.
I still refuse to purchase ANY books on GN'R other than "Slash".
You never got Reckless Road? That was a really good book, in my opinion. Supported by the band, actual stories and quotes from members of the band and those close to them from the early days.

The Baltimore/Houston game has been PPD for this week, so a couple of teams (James Lofton and PaSnow) have empty spots on the roster. Make a quick change if you can.

If that were the case, they'd find a way faldor.
Best Buy, like every other retailer, is gonna market Rock Band 2 MASSIVELY this holiday season, and if they can tie it and CD together, they'll do so.
Oh I agree, hopefully. I'm just referring to people screaming about why they don't release it on iTunes. There may be a reason other than, they're not confident in the song or they want to test the waters first.

I can't argue one way or the other because no one knows for sure. It also has nothing to do with the amount of money someone has or doesn't have. To me it's this simple; you claim to be a fan of a band... the band releases new material... you buy it if you want to listen to it.
I know, I don't get it. I don't want to get on people for not being fans, because they have every right to do whatever the hell they want. Cheat, lie, steal, play by the book. But I just don't see why a lot of people seem personally offended by things Axl has done. I mean, this is just me, but unless Axl anally raped my mother or something to that extent I don't see the reasoning behind refusing to buy the album or support the band.

You could argue instead of GNR being behind it, it's Universal. It was an ex employee of theirs, taking material that they were preparing to release. I know people are quick to jump on the band, but they're not the only ones affected here.
#6738 Re: Guns N' Roses » Information on Shackler's Revenge » 876 weeks ago
someone posted before, I forget who, what I thought was a valid reason for the possibility of not releasing "Shackler's" as a single. First off Rock Band has exclusivity to the song, secondly if the Best Buy rumors are true they have exclusivity over the album. I don't know how the process works exactly, but I would think Rock Band or Best Buy would have the exlusive rights over iTunes for example. I don't know if Rock Band releases singles from the game, that could be a possibility.
#6739 Re: Guns N' Roses » Will you still buy CD? » 876 weeks ago
Again, there's no proof that GNR had anything to do with this. If you want to steal the album, steal the album. Don't look for excuses to jusitfy not paying it.
Well said. 2 wrongs don't make a right. Since Axl has broke the law in the past, you have the right to rip him off? So you wouldn't be the least upset if I came to your house and stole your plasma TV? That's fine right? You stole first, I'm just getting even.

Wow, they needed so many people to write a below mediocre song.
Buzzkill! I love the song! I went like a week or so without listening to it, but I've been cranking it in the car the last couple days. Oh how I missed it. It's good to be back.
