Actually, IFOCS is a very complex, layered record, guitar and song structure wise. I get it if you don't like Eric's voice (I do, love it), but there's really nothing there except for really, really well written songs.

IFOC shits all over ALG
And Libertad and Contraband, for that matter, and dare I say... uhu, yup, CD.

The song is pretty cool, but it could use some stronger vocals on the chorus. Maybe they should've gone for some "band vocals" or something there.
#674 Re: The Garden » HELP: Protools » 852 weeks ago
No, ProTools requires either DigiDesign or M-Audio hardware to work with. Furthermore, the M-Audio version is fairly limited in comparison to the full (digidesign) version.
I would just use another DAW personally (don't get why people love ProTools so much). Cubase, Logic, Ardour, ... all of them are at least on par with ProTools in my book.

Love it, have all four seasons on dvd for a reason . Saikin is right, it's a pretty intelligent show. And although it is formulaic, I tend to like it for the subplots more than the medical whodunit type story-lines each episode. Most of the cleverness comes from character development and somewhat intelligent dialogs. And Hugh Laurie is perfectly fit for the role of House.

This is correct. Axl was talking about Brain, not Brian May.
What do you base this on? To me it's obvious from the context he was talking about Brian May. It would be very surprised if he was talking about a drum solo and referring to Brain as a "rock legend".

He's more open to questions than I'd expected. Would love for him to come over here and chat with us. I guess it would be slightly more fluent then on those big sites

Funny thing is their shit is actually much better produced than CD
(*edit* song quality is a different thing though, and I don't care for the vocals)

I love the kids singing on Serial Killer. But IFOC is by far the best GNR related album since they broke up (including CD).
As others have mentioned, check out Neither Can I, Beggars&Hangers-On, Back and Forth Again and Dime Store Rock. But I also really like Doin' Fine and the main riff in Take it Away is super mean!

You can distinctly make out Jarmo going "Hardy har har!" in the background.
Uhm, is that for real? I mean, is it really him?
