I just got home from work not too long ago. It took all my strength to not make it a half day and come straight home to give the song a listen, but I knew it'd be waiting for me when I got home. Patience, is a virtue. Of course I don't have enough patience to wait for the official release, that's another animal. (I will buy it if it becomes available, but I may be old and gray by then).
I love the chorus, and the guitars are sick. Heavy stuff. I can fully see me blasting this in my car in the near future.

Well I'll be at work at that time, so I hope WHATEVER happens is available when I get back. Whatever it might be. Information, pictures, songs. MSL has a lot of people excited right now, I don't think he wants to disappoint. But I'm not getting my hopes up for anything huge. I'll take just some gossip on a release date at this point, or on Robin's status. I can wait less than a month for SR. Another song wouldn't hurt though, but I don't know if he'd want to go through that trouble again. More power to him if he does though.

Oh yeah, that's right - I forgot, I'm supposed to be MSL. My bad. Confusing as hell when I'm talking to him on the phone and its really just me talking to myself. Well at least that way I always have a friend :-P

I have it scheduled for an online draft next Monday, though I can change it and might have to as I might not be available then. 2 more would at least give us 8 teams. We're getting there, anyone else?

I'm just throwing this out there as an idea. I post over at HTGTH as well and started up a league. It's been a couple weeks and our draft is scheduled for next Monday, so less than a week. And we've only got 6 teams. Here's my ingenious idea. If we could get 6 teams from this board, we could split into 2 divisions and have a battle of the boards. I'd have to check that out further, but I'm pretty sure that's doable. I'm in a 14 team baseball league that's split into divisions.
Would this pique anyone's interest whatsoever? If so I can post the info. Just thought I'd give it a try. A 6 team league just isn't enough excitement for me.

I used to be a Madden freak. Back in college we went through like 10 seasons of franchise mode in a semester. Those were the glory days. Hasn't been the same since though. I bought it the first couple years afterwards but then gave up. I'm still on PS2. Good times though, playing Madden.

GNR completely piss me off because they need to capitalize on this BEFORE someone has a chance to leak it. Just go ahead and release it as a single. What are they waiting for anyway?
I don't think that's necessarily true. If people want to illegally download the track, they will. For people who want to purchase the song, when given the choice they will. There are still some honest people in the world who pay for music, so while they may download the track when/if it leaks they'll still pay for it when it becomes available. If Rock Band has exclusive rights to the song and will do their best to prevent it from leaking I wouldn't expect the song to be released as a single before the game comes out. I would expect soon after, but again I really don't think the timeframe matters as far as sales go. Media hype and taking advantage of positive and free publicity, well that's another story.

Yeah the Sun is one of those papers that have stories about the Pope meeting with Aliens and pictures to prove it, as far as I know, so I wouldn't put too much credence in that report just yet.
