I voted Madagascar in round 1, then let it rest in round 2. It's time to vote Madagascar again. "If The World" not getting love. I really like that tune. Then again I love "I.R.S." and that got voted off first.

I never realized Axl picked up a guitar during that song. He doesn't do that anymore does he?
As for the comparison. It's an interesting and fun thing to do, but I don't think it's the right time for that. Although I'd favor newGNR over most if not all VR songs, there are a lot more VR songs to choose from. Who's to say Axl doesn't have 4 or 5 better songs up his sleeve? I know it's just for fun though. "Loving the Alien" is one of my favorite VR songs. I didn't see that one mentioned anywhere, am I alone on that front?

That was actually closer than I thought'd be. But again, you're choosing from 30+ songs from one band compared to 9. Not really an even playing field.

Yeah, everything seems to be be very positive thus far.
I'm kind of surprised by that because I didn't think the 3 songs were as strong as the previous group initially. I think they're up there now, but it took some listens to reach that point. Usually does though.

It took me years (and by that I mean about 10) to get into Breakdown but now I love the song. Weird.
Breakdown is my second favorite GNR song after Rocket Queen.
I thought the review was very positive. I liked the attempt at humor too. Good job there. As DTJ said, reviews are obviously just one person's opinion so just because he doesn't like Madagascar doesn't mean it's not a good song. I personally would put it in the bottom half of the 10 songs we've heard. I think it's a good song, but for me it doesn't compare to some of the others, that's all.

Gotta go with riyadh. While this version sounds 10x better then it did in rio, its still the weakest of the bunch.
I agree, I actually LIKE the song now after not being a fan of the live version. But it still doesn't stack up to the rest of the songs in my opinion.

For the people who think this song IS Prostitute. Would you still think the song is Prostitute IF the word prostitute isn't what Axl says in that last verse? Are you basing your thoughts that the title of the song is taken from that one word in the song or is it something else that leads you to that thought.

Yeah this is a tough vote as I don't dislike any of the songs. I chose Madagascar since it's been around longer than the new leaks and it's my least favorite of the original leaks.
