"The 'Better' music video will be out in a week or so. Monumental promotion will start very soon!" - Axl, 12/11/08

Monumental promotion should've started four or so days ago...

Good find.

I think it's funny when girls call me a player just because when i'm 'interested' in someone, i'm not just interested in one person but usually a few.

That ain't playin', simply playin' it smart.

I do it all the time. Girls sometimes have a problem with me not submitting to the whole 'dog on a leash' routine. There's always a number to text, another place to go... It's a safety net many men fail to appreciate, let alone use. I guess some of them make good serial killers after the lady of their dreams chews them up and spits them out.

Of course, this leaves me somewhat detached and a bit loose in the early stages of the game with each lady. Catch their interest and let it fly, after a whole they'll come to you without further effort. That's when you narrow the emotional involvement back to basics, and I recommend you'll work on your infatuation when/if something concrete has already happened between you and her.

The less baggage you bring in until you know where the ship's sailing, all the better for you.

Based on the sales numbers on United World Chart in the past four weeks, CD has broken the one-million barrier in worldwide sales. The good news is that with almost non-existent promotion and a Big Box exclusive, the numbers so far are fine. In fact, the combined numbers for these past four weeks show that GNR has been going almost exactly as strong as AC/DC and their new album, Black Ice.

The bad news are that the Aussies had by then enjoyed a full month on the charts with ferocious sales - as well as the ad campaign CD never had. When comparing the first four-week sales of GNR and AC/DC, a pattern painfully emerges: for every CD, three copies of Black Ice are sold.

The conclusion is therefore that, all things considered, CD's not doing bad. On the other hand, it's currently risking a tailspin and vanishing into obscurity as we roll on into 2009, unless some drastic actions are taken to promote the sucker.

IRS and Maddy are prolly in the top 3 for me on the album

I'm sorry to have seen Scraped go so early. Now Shackler is under the gun, next to that creaky old number on tax evasion.

I guess I'm just not in the majority.

Thanks guys.

I wasn't leeched, don't worry. Scott Rowley was generally very cool about the whole thing and my relationship with Classic Rock is a good one.

Still to receive the issue myself, although it's in the mail, they say. 16

Feel rather wanted as of late.

Caught up once again with the lady, who might or might not be the one. While leaving the faculty, caught up with a lady whom I knew by appearance but had never spoken to before. Ended up going downtown on the same bus and conversing for a good half an hour. Just the sort of relaxed, easygoing chit-chat I tend to have with people I click with. Some people click better than others, it seems. From downtown, went to a birthday party where I knew about half the crowd, ended up in rather deep talks with practically everybody both there and at the night club afterwards. Had a dame in my coat-tails throughout the night; walked her home and she gave me a migraine med (I can relate, RB), and while we were both too drunk and tired to get into anything I wouldn't dare mentioning in a public forum (with yours truly constantly fearing a potential throwing up), it turned out we had a lot in common in terms of past life experiences.

I woke up without a headache, noticed how pretty she looked in her sleep, scribbled a hasty note and rushed into the dawn's early light.

Life has a funny way of getting one sidetracked every time one feels the pieces are falling into places, but, so far, in a rather pleasing way.
