If it keeps on raining, the Levi's gonna break.

"There's been some concern. That if we play five or six new songs, then there can't that many more on the album. Au contraire, mon frére. We're just playing the songs we're not considering putting out as singles or anything. So, you'll get 18 songs, and about 10 extra tracks." (Axl, Docklands, 08/26/02)

What if I told you we were getting the "extra tracks" right now?

What is the mailing list? How can we join?

Oh it's just an alert through Bandcamp that sends out when a followed artist releases something new.

I'm on Buckethead's email list and I get a "the madman has released another album" email every 2-3 days.

Makes me feel like a lazy sack of garbage every time.

Really?

I'd put money on it.

You don't call a guy you're not close with "your Randy Rhodes".

Also who would've been telling Axl how to keep it together in the year 2000?

Sounds good gents.

I have a lot of cooking practice I'd like to get done. I need to make a list to prioritize but I think canning, pickling, and the like are going to be next on the list. I'm going to learn how to make dill pickles, sauerkraut, and kombucha. They all should be pretty low cost (knock on wood) and allow me to experiment with different variations.

"The General" is a litmus test for me.

It's the sequel to one of the best Gn'R songs of all time in "Estranged" and likely one of the last songs finished up. It would have Axl giving an Angel Down era vocal take and maybe one of the last songs Buckethead recorded with the band. So on multiple fronts, it should really deliver.

It should be divorced from early CD session songwriting ideas and has the potential to be more comfortably sprawling. In summary, this has the potentially to be a damn good song. That is what I'm expecting. And if anything, the guy who heard this at the 2012(?) after party is responsible for more of my hype than Sebastian Bach.

I was hyped for "Zodiac" and if it's half as good as that, I'm gonna be through the moon.

I'm excited but I'm considerably more nervous.

I wish one of his hardcore fans would write some sort of guide book on his massive discography with proper descriptions and categories.

It would make it so much easier to browse through his material.

They need a meme album title, a red-blooded lead rock single, and a single that strippers can dance to.

If they do something pretentious like 72 Seasons or some lame try hard bullshit like a self-titled album, I'm officially burying them.
