check out this band from Boston, Crash Midnight. They sounds a lot lie early GNR and early Motley.
I've been a fan since March or so.
Their third EP just came out (pretty much their second, since the first on had a couple thousand copies printed) and was posted on Myspace this week, they're getting over 15,000 plays per day.

i hate having fuckin transcripts up, no offense. Regardless of if Ron said its ok, i think its a bit of a bummer. If I missed a chat personally wouldn't care about reading a transcript. Not like any top secret information was shared.

not really, slash wasn't on camera much, his guitar was inaudible, Alice Cooper was good though.

I thought the response after his letter was pretty good from what I remember. There was some dissappointment for various understandable reasons, cancelled shows, no album in 06... but overall most people I thought seemed pretty hyped that he'd opened up and given the March 6th date. I really didn't think things were that bad on the forums? People only turned nasty when March 6th came and went with nothing but a sentence from Del about the album being mixed followed by a series of cancelled dates in Japan and S.A. which put the mockers on things.
I agree IF Axl had decided to me more open, he would have done more than one update, especially within a couple months of march 6. I dont think things written on boards really mean much to him. If they did I'm sure he have signed up and made anonymous post on the forums, or written to us saying what retards we were for having no lives.
