Something doesn't sit with me. Bob Ludwig mastered these which suggests they're older. There was a delay with the vinyl. Sterling mastered Absurd so I'm guessing that was out of the loop originally.

The recent studio visit, the guy said the music sounded more afd, not these, defo not The General.

It suggests there is more music to come

I'm not sure I follow.

What I have noticed is Hard Skool and Absurd are alot louder than Perhaps.
I hope this is addressed if they end up forming some kind of album.

Bob Ludwig has retired, he doesn't work anymore, and has done very little in recent times. GN'R were listening to new material in a studio in Europe very recently

Inside Out was a cool instrumental.

Potentially another interlude.

Still can't believe no one asked Axl about those fucking interludes during the Axl chats.

Those chats were a massive wasted opportunity. We could've learned almost everything we needed to know about the saga.

From what I remember, people did ask very detailed questions. Axl chose to answer some questions while ignoring a lot of them.

The reason he came was to justify why he continued the GNR brand without Slash etc.. whilst answering selective questions.

They're more disconnected now from us, but the newgnr thing bothered him, not the word, but the concept. He'd gone through loads of bother with it all, carrying the weight of responsibility, and I think he was just trying to justify himself and to vent.

People pointed out John5 being in the video. The guy is pretty social, so it's no surprise that he should know GNR, *but* I was looking through old notes and found this circa the "No Trickery" shows. No proof if it's true and NOT my words, just something I read:

Axl texted Josh Freese if he could talk to Bucket for him and to tell bucket to give him a call. Asked Josh if he knew any other guitar players, Josh said John5, and Axl said we auditioned with him but it didn't work out.

Splat might remember something about this.

Gigger (Splat member) mentioned something about John 5 in the lead up to Hammerstein.

I can't remember much about it. We mentioned it at the time, and both Axl and John 5 have mentioned it since. Beyond that, I can't remember

Seems Caram is no longer with the band? Does anyone know for sure? Could be reason for the delays...
Wouldn't blame him if he left, could you imagine re mixing and mastering the SAME handful of songs for 20+ years!

He's not doing FOH duties with GN'R because he was in LA at the time of the European tour.

Was he the person in LA mixing and sending music to GN'R at that studio a few weeks back, possibly.

It seems like he has more time on his hands though as he's advertising his services

This was posted today on Mygnrforum:
Apparently 4tus claimed that d-tune + circus maximus + beltrami mix = 7

"Here's some other news that I found along the way... There apparently was a fan who spoke with 4tus possibly on Twitter I believe, who was also in a chat on one of the *Perhaps* news YT videos... The fan was curious about both *The General* & *Seven* n' instead he asked him about the latter cause he was really curious... Turns out... 4tus said *D Tune* IS in fact *Seven* with parts/sections from *Circus Maximus*... Then the Beltrami mix was added in to it...

After reading that, I decided to listen to both back n' forth... Both Tracks have some melodies that r the same...where they actually fit together...which I believe is the Ending or close to it on D Tune."

Most important question is if it has vocals.

Yeah, we were going on about that years ago. Circus Maximus was the stadium in Ben Hur, in the film there were nine chariots, but historically only seven chariots ever raced and the stadium in based on the orbits of the seven planets from Earth to Pluto. It's interesting if nothing else

This is the database

Any information would be through here

What do you think of this posted on 4chan?

I work in the industry. Perhaps was supposed to be out today and Atlas scheduled for November. There were talks of getting The General in a movie soundtrack, but it looks like that fell apart too. Word is Axl pulled the plug to stick it to the studios with all the strike action thats going on, which has caused bad blood with the label and now Perhaps is up in the air.

Probably fake for some reasons, the first one is that the artwork is too good and that seems impossible at a GNR release nowadays and the second one why would they release something in November, they do not have tour dates and there are no plans for 2024 dates

To be fair, when tracks are posted on the database, it does come with the artwork which you can download in different sizes. Unfortunately, I can't check because I haven’t logged in for ages and I've lost my login now.  But if it was there, alot of people have access to it, and it'll have been posted more than once already.

It's more the fact that the information has come with the General/movie gossip, which is not information you can come across readily now unless you can go into it from the movie side of things where people may be more inclined to talk

It'll be nonsense.

Atlas would be listed on the database, if it was there would be more of a footprint on the Internet.

The movie soundtrack would have to track back to a personal conversation with Axl/Slash/Duff, management, or Sujata/Todd, and they do not talk. Being in the 'industry' gets you lite information on Perhaps and nothing more
