I hate to say this and have not read the whole thread, but sometimes I worry about our boy Axl. Stress is a stone cold killer....
I hear you, that thought also scares me sometimes.

I am very sad to hear this. Never really was that much a fan of his music (liked some of it though) but I always felt bad for the guy. No matter how much I fucking hate child molesters, I don't believe he ever messed with children that way. I think he was a harmless, self-loathing mental case who thought he could relive the childhood he never had and these money-hungry parents used their kids as bait to get him in trouble. Maybe now he's finally free of the humiliation and negativity constantly aimed at him by the public. Rest in peace Michael Jackson.

The one thing I didn't like in the original Star Wars trilogy was the twist where Leia turned out to be Luke's sister. It killed the "last and only hope" image of what Luke was supposed to be. The trilogy would probably have ended with a better climax if Luke was still Darth Vader's only son. And I'm not your typical SW fan that jump on the anti-Lucas bandwagon, the re-releases and the prequels never made me stop being a fan of the franchise.

I just watched Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace because I remembered ten years ago when it was released around this time which is hard to believe it's been that long ago already. While it's not my most favorite Star Wars, the anticipation for this movie was exciting and sure was a big event during that summer. I thought Qui-Gon Jinn played by Liam Neeson was an awesome Jedi (my favorite actually) and Darth Maul was a cool villain. Since it's obvious the SW prequels are inferior to the original trilogy, I think Episode I was the best of this trilogy, III the second best and II the worst.

Writer Tapped For 'Predator' Reboot
Bloody-Disgusting got the scoop that Alex Litvak is currently penning the new draft of Predators that's to be produced by Robert Rodriguez's Troublemaker Studios for 20th Century Fox. Litvak recently wrote Medieval for New Regency. The reboot to the classic 80's action/horror flick Predator is being penned as a "sequel" and will follow a team of commandos who face down a mysterious race of vicious monsters. The project is on fast-track for a July 9, 2010 release. No word yet on who will be directing as Rodriguez is now said to not be getting behind the camera.
