Weird thought...the new Bumble pics makes me think he was auditioning for a SOAD gig. He obviously has the chops for it. It's about time a player of his caliber moves up the food chain. I don't blame him.

I've only watched Patience so far and thought it was great. Goofy, pathetic shit like that is why I still follow fakegnr. I go to the Slash section when i want to see/talk/hear serious music.
Still can't wait to watch the US tour implode. It'll be a great internet soap opera. Right now, I'm going to wind turbine school in northwest Iowa, an easy drive to both Omaha and Minneapolis. I wouldn't waste my time watching Botaxl if he bought me a ticket and sent a limo for me. Not sure if he's fit to even front Adler's band at this point. I'm also not sure if having a pro like Josh Todd open for him is in his best interest's? But whatever...It'll be a nice midday escape for me from school reading about the drama.

Soooooo...when does this thing start? And is there a link to watch it?
#64 Re: Guns N' Roses » Bumblefoot's Favorite UYI Song » 717 weeks ago
Don't Cry is one of those songs I'll always remember where I was the first time I heard it. If I remember correctly, it was the second single released off UYI? Released before the albums could be bought? Needless to say, I was underwhelmed. So it's cool a fakegnr member would say it was his favorite. Makes sense.

Songs would've been BETTER, and Izzy might've been more involved.
Those are some seriously presumptuous would'ves and might'ves!!!!!

VR would've sucked with Bach fronting them. Contraband is a great album, one of the best of the 00's. It won a Grammy, sold millions of copies, resurrected Slash's career & allowed allowed VR to play some really high profile gigs. That never would've happened with Bach involved. With Savage Animal fronting the band, VR would've been headlining Rocklahoma while playing a bunch of 80's tunes. I don't see how anyone can call VR a failure. They wrote some great songs and played a ton of shows...that's not a bad thing.

I just can't believe Axl is even attempting an arena tour in the US. The guy is just so disconnected from reality. Axl is 0 for 2 so far in finishing fakegnr US tours...I'm betting he strikes out on three pitches to make it 0 for 3. Regardless, it'll be great theatre to follow online.

#69 Re: The Garden » US troops may stay in Afghanistan until 2024 » 722 weeks ago
LOL!!! Did anyone really think the US would ever leave before all the shit is mined in Afghanistan? As long as there's natural resources to be had, the US will always have a presence whatever Middle East country offers a greater reward for the risk...
