La posible reunion en 2006 no habria sido gran cosa como hemos visto desde 2016 en adelante!....slash y duff habrian grabado sus partes como aportes y nada mas!...de echo es lo que estan haciendo actualmente!....musicos de seciones al mando de axl!...y en directo fink,bumblefoot y fortus tocaban mejor el material de chinese!....para que la reunion?...no hay nada que les impida componer juntos y todabia nos preguntamos que habria salido de esa ipotetica reunion?....facil!...nada!....no hay musa ni quimica y la reunion a postergado el chinese 2 y de colmo sera regrabado con los dudosos aportes de slash y duff!....el exito mato al grupo por que los condiciona comercialmente y creativamente! Axl debio enterrar el nombre de guns y haber llamado su obra de otra manera!....buckethead era el tipo indicado y queria soltar el peso del nombre!....cambiado el nombre axl podria aver sacado todo el material que tenian y onrar a la pedazo de banda que tenia!....josh freese,robin fink,tommy stinson,paul huge,pitman,dizzy reed,buckethead y axl!...esa era la banda!.....

If it's literally out of the GNR camp's hands and we're just waiting on movement from the label, it's good news...even if we have to wait months.

Sorry, I didn't want to imply it's in the record labels hands, there is material ready to go when whoever pushes the button. I don't know who the decision maker is. Universal have this 360 approach to bands now, so I think it's a team decision these days. If I was to use a bit of logic, I could guess that they released Hard School and Absurd, but there was a long wait for the vinyl, and because of that, there was criticism. So, it may be that, on the back of that, the band are planning differently this time. It is better to release material with physicals, because it has a better impact on charts, and the bands legacy.

Further to that, there is implication that they are returning to Europe, after the recent cancellation of the Glasgow gig, so the dates might go on a bit longer, in which case, there is a bigger window to release material.

In any means, I have found their contact at Universal, so I will maybe get something from that.

Have read most of it and I have to say, this is the lowest grade  GNR related book of any kind to date. And I've read 'em all.

While there are some interesting insights, tidbits and alternate perspectives it's largely coloured by a real sense of insincerity,  insecurity, boastfulness and outright boorishness. I am definitely no prude, but the way he talks about groupies and women in general is toe-curlingly cringeworthy. I can't begin to imagine what his wife makes of some of the excerpts.

As to why he is not on the NITL tour - if you read this book, I think it will become abundantly clear why. If I had not read this book I would still probably consider he was the best option for the reunion but its very obvious now that his general douchery is the main reason and he has no one to blame but himself.
