Oh wow is that like some sort of challenge to make me go out and buy it or supposed to make me feel less worthy of being a Gn'R fan or something? How many times have you seen them in concert Naltav? the old band, the new band, the 2002 band? Your judgemental views on what qualifies one as a fan makes you look like an ass.

If I'm not mistaken, I've seen you posting about wanting to see them when they hit the US, so I don't doubt you're a fan.
To answer your question; I've seen them four times '93, '06 and twice in 2010. Had tickets to two shows in'02 but shit got canceled.
The fact that you don't own a copy of CD, means nothing more than that you don't have a copy of it. For all I now, you could be one of those cheap guys who are happy with just downloading and stocking up on CD-r's.
You've prolly heard that burnt copy as many times as you would've heard the actual album. So your opinion of the material has nothing to do with owning a copy or not. THAT'S why repeating the fact holds no kind of relevance!

Veterans' Day prolly seemed like a good idea almost 100 years ago.

I feel like such a nerd when im the only one adding tweets, news ect.
To me, the original tweet from GNR, sounded more like celebrating a branch of the US military, than paying respect and thanking the men and women sacrifising their lives through the years.
If whishing "happy birthday to the US Marine Corps" is a common phrase to pay your respect to the veterans, my apologies!
Had it said "Thanks a lot to all the veterans!", I don't think I would have commented on it. I know THAT means a lot to many Americans.
When I say "in this day and age", I mean that past WWII, I personally believe there's not much contribution from ANY branch of ANY military that deserve ANY kind of respect.
I know it sounds coldhearted considering the men and women risking their lives. But imo, before voluntearly taking part in an armed conflict, you should do a little research and determine if it's worth risking your life for. It's not about saving lives any longer...
There is a difference between saving Europe in 1945 and securing oil, gas and other profitable minerals in Iraq and Afghanistan.
I just can't ignore the politics of it all.

STFU dude. If you think I haven't bought the album to be "cool" you're fucked in the head. I had my original reasons for not buying it, not to mention I have no desire to buy something that to me is average at best.

To me, this is positive news:

Just don't want ya getting frustrated if a GN'R album doesn't happen quick..."
It's very clear from this statement, that more CD-material are likely what we'll see when a new GNR-album is released!
I'm confident that Axl and GNR are doing what they can to release any of the material that they see as a part of the CD-opus. And THAT is what DJ was talking about!
Ron appartently felt the need to correct that "don't expect new NEW material from the current lineup any time soon!"
If CDII sees the light of day before, during or after a US-tour is anybody's fuckin' guess! Hopefully GNR's tour activities during the past year may have soften the relationship with the label and they see that the (square!) wheels on the GNR-camp defies the laws of phisics and are now in fluid motion!
