Heard a song by an Australian band called 'tracer' today. 'me too'. Sounds like velvet revolver. Is this the first band to sound like vr?

at every band member interview now the extra material on cd is bought up. I'm quite surprised how they talk about it so openly after the debacle that was the cd release.

I get the impression that the band are placing some light pressure either on Axl or the record company to get on with another record. Fair dues to tommy as well for saying some of the new material written should be canned - a more honest approach.

Never seen Axl look so happy as at the end of that Miami show. Also it's great tom see him talking with the crowd again. Makes such a difference.

No point in it unless new manager can get a release from the record company.

The point would be to enjoy creating as a band. Money and fame aside thats what they're in it for too, right?

If GNR can play organise a full sa and na tour surely booking a month off together to review the vault and write a couple of new songs can't be hard.

If Axl wants gnr to be a band, making music as a band needs to be his number one priority after the tour finishes.

'clips' are the new 'leaks'!

Hopefully ax might do another interview if this goes down well. Can only help the record company to take him more seriously.

Trouble is Axl, once you've finished touring the US there's nowhere else to play that hasn't already experienced Chinese. So if you want to keep playing (earning) you're gonna need to push out some new material.

Not to derail the thread, but did anyone catch the GN'R fb update yesterday where they all went to a childrens hospital in Dallas? That was pretty fn cool of them.

Reminds me of when Axl went to that childrens hospital. Great thing to do, I wish they'd do more of it. Lots of respect for tommy and his Haiti project

It would have been major if it was a skid row reunion!

I thought there was another batch of songs recorded, mixed and finished as part of the cd sessions. Sure Axl said there were 26 songs or something complete. IMO if there is it would be easier to rerelease cd as a double and then begin to record afresh with the new band

Anyway, it's really good hes enjoying himself. Hopefully he won't have too long a 'holiday' after the tour finishes before they are active again.
