Jacko and Presley are more diverse and with a wider talent. Axl is a great performer, especially when he's pissed off, but IMO it's very hard to call and comes down to taste
Elvis is not more talented than Axl and he is not more diverse. Elvis didnt even write his own songs he had people write them for him.
Jacko on the other hand is probably the best pop star and most talented of all time. He write a lot of his songs and the ones he did write were mostly hits.
You can say Evlis had a bigger impact than Axl, but talent wise I dont know, . Elvis was a great singer and performer but he never wrote his songs.

yeah dont call the band guns n roses and they need to write their own songs.
Axl just needs to release a box set of the CD sessions and let this band write their own music. Like Ron said the songs are 10 years old, and this current band isnt like the CD version of the band, that band was more industrial, this band is more rock and I could see them writing an album closer to AFD style than CD style.

Ali I am not a professional and I am not in guns n roses, so your point really does not make any sense, and the funny thing is you are making my point for me, because you are pointing out a thread where I said Axl was wrong to call madison a cunt, so it just proves its not just because I dont like Ron I called him out on this. So thanks for proving my point Ali, great job 
Btw you really do need to learn to read, I didnt say I hope your mother gets raped. I said Axl could rape your mother and you would still defend him.
You really dont know what it is to make a point do you vs wishing harm on someone. Nice try though Ali.

Well I don't know him as a person, so it would be kinda wierd to have a firm view that he's wonderful, or a firm view that he's a prick. Like we really only have the public apperances and words of others and so on.
I must say from that Eddie Trunk interview he seemed funny and intelligent and the kind of guy I'd like to be friends with in real life - even if he wasn't Axl and famous and all that.
Then again there's women who say he's abusive and so on...so I guess there's as much "bad" evidence as "good". So i can't really form an opinion.
But i will say I don't dislike him, and from that interview it sounded like I might well like him. As I was saying earlier we all have good and bad points.
The thing is, it does not matter how nice and geninuine you act when you are on camera (or radio), its how you act behind closed doors, that is what really matters. Just because one one occasion Axl seemed chill does not mean that is how he always is as a person.

what you said is you like him for his musical talent (like most do here) but that is not liking him as a person. You still did not give a reason why you liked him as a person. Most like axl for his musical talent but a lot of people think he is an asshole of a person.
