If Axl's been "late" for not only the past 25 years, but late to Monday night's show, Tuesday night's show, and you have tickets to Wednesday night's show and get pissed when midnight rolls around ... get a fucking grip or don't buy a ticket. I'm so, so, so sick of hearing about the late start times. You know he's always late. You know he may not show up. Quite frankly, going to a show where he doesn't show up would probably be more of a memory to you and everyone else in the crowd than if he actually did show up anyway. So please, let's all just drop the late start bullshit. You roll the dice when you buy a ticket to a GN'F'nR's show. Just because Axl's fanbase has predominantly become over-privileged, whiney, middle aged sellout dipshits who need to have their Hyundai in the driveway by 9 PM to get the kids in bed doesn't require Axl Rose, the last standing Rock Star, to "grow up" with you.

That's not an attack on anyone who's posted in this thread, and more of my commentary on the running topic of late starts. It's a topic that's been played out like a fucking Jheri curl for the past 15 years at least.

I'm a middle aged dipshit, i've put up with countless no/late starts.

The only that infuriated me was Reading, where the plug was pulled and we got shortchanged.

Just heard on Planet Rock news that Slash has said they're due to spend time with a couple of singers next month (won't say who).

Can we please get some "Spoiler Warnings" If someone finds out something about this interview Nov 11th?
I am really looking forward to watching it spoiler free.

I agree too, it's not often you get to see anything 'fresh' although I'll need to find it on YouTube or something as I don't have vh1

Um, let me think, they've released Chinese Democracy?

Looking back I don't think anyone thought about how much of an impact that had on US audiences. I don't think people could take Axl seriously without official new material.

Soon enough the encores will become as long as the main set!

I know you can nit pick about this and that but I'd be very happy with that set list.

Although I'm sure at some point the band is going to bust out an old unexpected track or new song. it's just a feeling.

:rock:Fingers crossed that would be very cool.

Suspect it will be brief if Axl's involved though.

Two US shows down.

Possible interview with eddie trunk.

Maybe the tide is still to turn, but I feel the current.

The only danger element of a GNR show is the danger of missing the last train home.
