post deleted......had nothing to do with this thread! I just like shit like this...The Mats did stuff like this all the time back in their day. They would play old Hank Williams songs or Roger Miller or whatever. Fun, off the cuff stuff....UTLH is just like that.

Anybody that takes something negative from this is just nuts...seriously, Axl is still having fun. Period. End of discussion. Whether or not a record from Gnr is released has nothing to do with Baz or Bubbles or anyone else.

true, but Universal took over the contract when they bought Geffen years ago.....that is why they can release it under Interscope if they want-like Russ says they are. Who knows how it affects things. Russ, you need to email your boy and see if he has any scoop....not about Gnr in particular, but about Geffen and what the artists under them will be doing.

interesting rumor from the rope, I don't think CD will be coming out on Geffen. Looks like it is finito

Izzy also blamed Slash for recording over his parts....Slash also said that Izzy wasn't interested enough to contribute to alot of things. Axl also said he was the one to fight to have Izzy's songs and vocals on the records....November Rain, which blew them up massively on a worldwide stage, certainly wasn't Slash's doing....they all have their stories. Get over it. The allbums sold over 30 million worldwide. They did alright.....no one is to blame and everyone is to blame.

there are a thousand possibilities... that is the problem when you take so much time, spend so much money, and possibly have too much material (weak or strong who knows?).... Just think about it.:nervous:

what if they got dropped off three to four albums worth of material with tracklists they don't care for? Just sayin'......they may just be taking their sweet time to figure out exactly what to do with it all....with the RAPIDLY changing music biz landscape and a 13 million dollar tab....only fools rush in. Jimmy Iovine is no fool.:haha:

James, I said this would happen in one of the 18 other threads on Angel Down.....stores probably only carried 2-5 copies and they were snapped up by insane Gnr FANS....In Seb's case, it is better to print too few than too many. He has no way to gauge the size of the Gnr-Axl audience. I don't think it was a marketing ploy. They just really didn't have any idea of what to expect.
