#7281 Re: Guns N' Roses » KFRQ plays Baz/Axl song Back in the Saddle » 922 weeks ago
Does anyone have a real mp3 of Back in the Saddle?....not the radio rip with the muted guitars but the real deal.:P
#7282 Re: Guns N' Roses » The Reason Behind The Delay Of "Chinese Democracy"....? » 922 weeks ago
Pasnow...where did Mysteron say there is any animosity or that the record company has a vendetta against Axl? Talk about reading in to things in a negative way. Like James said, they are probably simply deciding what to do with it and when to do it. They have alot at stake. They certainly are NOT going to rush it out there after all this time. That is the absolute worst thing they could do.
#7283 Re: Guns N' Roses » Lay Your Cards on the Line » 922 weeks ago
When I say what is holding the album up.....I mean what is holding the album up right NOW...not over the last decade because then all three scenarios came in to play. However, right now, I think it is purely business matters and the album/albums are in the can. Mysteron would not have said that without reason. Maybe that is why Baz is talking so much. He is trying to up the pressure on the record company by publicly talking about how great the album is. Get the fan base riled up against the record company. Helps Axl's position-desperate move I know, but something gotta get this thing out.
Good honest answers by all, except for one person who I figured wouldn't say anything. Some suprising opinions with some of you. See, you can't judge a book by it's cover!
Jim Bob, I meant nutswinger in a good way with you....you're consistent and you truly like the new band. Personally, I really only get in to Axl, Tommy, and Robin since Bucket and Brain left. As long as those three are still there, I am very interested.:)
ps I also respect Bumble alot as he really seems to have his heart in the right place and seems to be a very good man...that is worth something in my book. He is a standup guy.

See, most people are middle of the road-like me and you James. But, certain people who won't come clean and answer simple questions, like to point the finger and call people nutswingers when they, in reality are the definition of nutswingers. If you are a nutswinger, be one and be one proudly, like Jim Bob....not a guy who tries to play nice on all the boards when in reality they HATE everything going on in the Gnr world. Worst case scenario, I could handle a reunion scenario like you suggest James, but I would have him do it before the age of 50...you can always do the side projects when you get really old.

1. Fate
2. B
3. B
4. B
5. B-I saw them in their prime, no need to do it again at 50-just not the same.

I am tired of reading people's posts who have these secret hidden agendas. This is a small board so I say let's lay our cards on the line and cut through the shit. I am gonna give some basic Gnr related scenarios in a multiple choice format. Choose your answers and don't go in to any deep thought provoking analysis....what do we really feel about the state of the new Gnr and the glorious days of old?
1. Who broke up the old band?
a. Axl
b. Slash
c. Fate-in other words, simply too much success too soon.
2. Do you want a reunion before Chinese Democracy-all original members only?
a. Yes
b. No
3. What is holding up Chinese Democracy?
a. Axl's perfectionism or his inability to finish the job
b. Business Matters
c. Axl is not happy with the material
4. If it is business matters, who is at fault?
a. The Record company
b. Axl
5. Assume Chinese is a smashing success, after all the current material is released, would you still want a reunion of the original band?
a. Yes
b. No
Alright, let's see what people really think-these are the core issues in the Gnr world....

we know your game and it is stale....that's all I'm saying. It has nothing to do with your opinion on a washed up 80's rocker's new record. Just go read all your negative posts across all the boards you troll.
#7288 Re: Guns N' Roses » Love Is A Bitchslap With Axl » 922 weeks ago
well, thanks for your opinion BBA...I am sure Baz is quite concerned about what a fan (probably the only fan) of a drug Adler junkie wannabe thinks.... don't you have another board to troll around-say mygnr?
the songs and Baz's album won't change the world, no doubt, but they are pretty fun, carefree tunes.
#7289 Re: Guns N' Roses » Marc Canter on Fuse - The Sauce » 922 weeks ago
the only thing they could do is improve the mixes and clean up Axl's vocals...possibly take stuff out in songs that are too busy.
#7290 Re: Guns N' Roses » Love Is A Bitchslap With Axl » 922 weeks ago
Thanks to all....James, I think it kinda rocks and Axl puts on two or three different voices in the background. His deep Coma voice.....high pitched wails...pretty rockin solos too...very old school song. Not to bad and could do well on radio on hard rock stations.
