i doubt that slash could vote for himself like every other guy that participated and it takes more than one vote to get up there

it surprised me that bucket wasn't there but... i think guitarists from the new wave won't get so much credit just because they are new.
as you said it's "favorites" not "best". if you would ask me who is the best guitar player out there i would go towards bucket but if you'd ask me who's my favorite i'd say slash, no doubt about it. one of the reasons is the fact that i grew up with slash and i feel closer to his music whereas bucket, i discovered him when i was older. slash grew up listening to hendrix so i think he's more inclined to vote for him.
