Just seen the premier of the estranged video from Argentina on blabbermouth.
To be fair there are some positive comments even from those who don't hold a torch for Axl.
See how easy it is Axl? He really looks into estranged. Its given me a good feeling watching it.
I'm sure if he switched some of the covers for other uyi faves he would win a lot of older fans back who might be then a little more open to any new material they have.
I'd really like to see the current band have a real successful stint - it's about time isn't it? I think it would make a lot of us 'hardcores' feel better too!

It's not hard to see why Axl owed all that money for the bentley when he closes car doors like that.
Sounds in good form though, hopefully a bit of a temper is having a positive effect on him!

From what i could gather Axl was waiting on his car to get on his private plane but security took soo long that Axl just got mad, at first people were waving him and he was smiling back, but after a while he got tired of waiting.
Thats what i could make from the comments in the video.

Speaking of it, anyone else think The General sounds more fleshed out here?
I used to think this might have been background strings to the song, but I'm really starting to think its the actual intro to it.
Sounds DARK like Axl's been watching a lot of horror.
Can't wait to hear it, although might be better to hear as a studio track first. Be cool if they just played a little more of the track each night as the intro and then put it out on iTunes or something. I live in hope!

All I can say aftervseeing some of the videos is I wish I'd have been there! Old or new songs the band was rocking and Axl looked as though he was having a blast. At the end of the day it just looked like a great concert to be at, lots of atmosphere.
Kudos to Ron on estranged aswell spot on. it'd be interesting to see what he could come up with if Axl asked him to write lead guitar for a song like teat or estranged.

No I like oh my god. Even more with all that crazy shit and distorted voice going on. The funky disco upbeat bit too. Don't know why so many people slated it, felt quite bad ass when I first heard it
