#741 Re: The Sunset Strip » Elmir presents the best of South African Rock...VOL 1.... » 922 weeks ago

gave them a listen last night. i like their serious songs better that the funk ones. but those are also pretty nice.

i liked "great to be alive" "best side" "brain" and i looked around the videos part a bit and "smile pantsula" and "night falls..." are also very nice.

that's just a few songs i got to listen in a hurry. very nice all around 3

I heard a rumor that Disturbed's new album is going to have a cover of 'Midlife Crisis' by Faith No More. If that's true and it leaks, I'd love to hear it.

i'm a big fan of disturbed. unfortunately i live in fucking romania and i tried to preorder the limited version of the album from their site and they don't ship here 4 oh, well.

no midlife crisis, at least from the tracklist:

01. Indestructible
02. Inside The Fire
03. Deceiver
04. The Night
05. Perfect Insanity
06. Haunted
07. Enough
08. The Curse
09. Torn
10. Criminal
11. Divide
12. Facade

And their new album Indestructable is coming out June 3rd.

the two tracks are "inside the fire" that's the first single that is already out and the second song is "perfect insanity" which was made available for free on their official site. all you had to do was enter your email address or something. "perfect insanity" is, in fact an older song that dates back to the first album but it was never released until now.

#743 Re: Guns N' Roses » Robin Finck officially records new NIN album, released last night » 923 weeks ago

congrats to robin for the album with his recording.

but i don't see it as such a fast recognition of his talent. he's credited just as a performer. the writing is solo trent. whereas in gnr i think he would have got some writing credits.

don't get me wrong, it's still great news for him. but any guitar player can record already written tracks pretty fast, i'm waiting to hear songs he's written or took part in writing.

it's so hard to watch the trailers and see heath and realize he's gone. he does a great, great job with this role. can't wait to see the movie but after this i'll probably be more sad that such a talent is no longer here

finally. been waiting for this movie for almost a year now. i've seen the poster last year and i've almost forgot about it.

Anyhow, I'd like to know how she gave birth to seven children and never even went to a hospital.  I mean I know it can be done but you have any idea how much blood that is.

i wondered about that too. and how could you raise children in the basement until they are 18-19? if this didn't actually happened i couldn't believe it.

and how submissive can you be. i mean, ok, respect his wishes, his privacy but, the man spent a lot of time in that basement. doesn't it make you at least curios enough to go into the basement and see what the hell he's cooking?

this world is crazier and crazier.

#747 Re: Guns N' Roses » *Sign this Petition* » 923 weeks ago

signed it. i hope it helps. many petitions don't go anywhere. hopefully this is not one of them.

do you have any idea how many signatures it needs?

and about the case, i don't even want to comment on it.

how can his wife not have known something? HOW?

that's my problem. how did she live in that house ad not know anything? i mean, was the cellar off-limits for her? and if so, wasn't she interested why?

its probable that children that are the result of an incestual relationship often have serious medical problems.  The poor poor kids. Horrendous.

that's one of the main problems with incest. besides the moral issue. there is a much, much higher risk of the child to be born with severe malformations. i don't even want to think how those children lived and how their lives will be from now on.

They should just kill this man now, don't even bother with a court hearing and sentencing him, he's almost at the end of his life, they should not waste anyones time and just shoot him in the head and let him go straight to hell.

i'm more peaceful than you. he's already 73. i'd say torture the fucker. 4 i'm serious. killing him would make it too easy for him. put his ass in prison and let his "roommates" know why he's there. they'll take care of him real good.

24 years. i can't even imagine. i mean, can't you find something to help you escape? something to kill the fucker with? i don't know.

perhaps...but i do these things for a living....and when i was in first year of college, we were doing shit which would have put this "animation" to shade....this shit wouldn't even make the lowest grade, which would be considered a "pass"....

for someone as creative as Trent, I would have expected of him to push the boundaries a little bit when it comes to audio visual execution as well....

i think that's the whole idea. to make it look really simple and amateur-ish.

if gnr would have the guts to do something like that it would be awesome and i'd support it all the way. everybody wants bigger, better productions. why? i think it's funny. i haven't listened to nin, just a few songs now and then but the more i find out about trent the more i respect him. he looks like he's doing it all for the music. so, in some way, finck's made a good choice
