so. we have a new single with robin, a video (a cartoon one but still), and an album coming soon (and not the soon you see in gnr world). of course he's gonna leave. axl in 10 years with robin did shit.
and i like the video. it's great me thinks. and the song is cool too

IF, and that's a big IF, there's a reunion i'd go to the first show no matter the costs.
IF (that word again) i can get a ticket. because the demand would be so big i might not get a shot at a ticket. that's the only problem.
but, IF i have a ticket in my hand i'd go around the world in a heartbeat. a trip to ny it would cost over 1000$ but i'd do it. no matter what.
i remember how it was seeing axl for the first time in budapest in '06. getting to see slash, duff, izzy on the same stage... i can't even imagine

wow. this board is getting beyond hateful. are you guys really fans or do you just enjoy bitching about everything and making stupid speculations about shit you don't know? the bitterness here is a drag. byes.
well, not to be hateful too, but:
- dr. pepper issues their promo with chinese democracy
- axl comments the very next day giving a hint about cd being out this year and bucket still on it
- gnr announce new management
so, they build up this very positive feeling and all the fans are there once again after all these years of promises and then:
- robin goes to tour with nin for this year, which means no gnr tour in the close future, no cd release maybe
- richard is interviewed by a guns n roses site because he is a member of the said band and can't even say why he played a guitar solo. he doesn't even say it's personal and he doesn't want to talk about it. he just says "no comment"
as i said build up a good feeling and then we are disappointed once again. that's why we're bitter. "the higher you climb the further you fall" or something like that.
we had very high hopes and then it all went to the shitter. the robin thing would have gone unnoticed if it was not coupled with the other things in gnr world. maybe this switched a lot of people off. maybe it was the drop that filled the glass.
i don't have nothing to say about the situation personally. i'm just disappointed, again.
bravo guns n roses. bravo my favorite band. you're the laughing stock of the music industry.

Because they're turning the process into a joke. Its an established band. Why are they one step away from a reality show with this?
Grab a kick ass singer and make a record. The world doesn't need to see the step by step process of VR picking a singer.
they're using the internet to find someone who they might click with. it's like an ad in the newspaper 20 years ago.

as long as they get a nice singer they can try everything in my book, except, as you said, the reality show.

I watched a small segment about this on the news. Apparently the victim wasn't some innocent good girl like she is being portrayed in the media. She had apparently been talking shit about these other girls, even threatening to kick their asses.
i'm sorry but that doesn't justify this. i should kick the shit out of someone who talks shit about me? talking shit doesn't mean anything to me and i ignore it. they could have tried to reason with her and if that doesn't work, bring the parents in or the school.
They gave her a chance to back up her words with action.
6 to 1? and 2 guys waiting outside? come on, are you serious? i've seen this way too many times in school and high-school. yeah, tell them it's one on one, but the moment the person with friends backing up starts losing a fight they all jump the other person.
i don't think she deserved losing an eye and hearing in one ear for shit-talk in high-school. what, she told them they suck at cheerleading?
now, to be the insensible prick. if you're gonna do something like this, you think they would at least think it through. put a beating on youtube? all it takes is one fucker from your school to see it and recognize you and the word is out and the police will come knocking.

i've seen "the mist" a couple of days ago. it's based on a stephen king novella.
makes some interesting points about the people behavior if they're left isolated with no technology around. if everybody would act like in this movie than we are lost as a human race.
and this movie was advertised with the line "the most shocking ending you'll see". yeah, if you're a two year old.
all in all an entertaining but predictable movie. wouldn't watch it again though
