The last time soon wasn't the word, it was effectively 4.5 years until the possibility of a release which ended up being a full 6 years by the time it came to pass, for perspective.
I think Axl is saving whatever maestro moments he has in the vault for Hollywood and doesn't generally give a hot fuck about the CD II stuff.
After the 2nd leg, they'll pause for everyone to do solo stuff / other ventures, then maybe come back for a 3rd leg. It's possible they could use the 95 GNR sessions as the backbone of a new record and use that as marketing for the new tour. It's also possible they market it as a farewell tour and get people that way.

lol..... Your boy Frank is pretty bad, but this is a high quality recording and I think it sounds pretty damn solid..
My boy? I don't like Frank. Worst drummer GNR has had by a country mile.
This shit is in the spirit of Live Era yet you still don't like it. Did you like Live Era?
Senator, I know Live Era. Live Era is a friend of mine and this is no Live Era.
The classic lineup is kind of like that star athlete who is so good that they don't even have to try, come to practice, or whatever. The classic band had that, it was chaos and it worked. Axl sounded incredible in many cases. This is not that band. They are not those guys. They've aged and it shows.
New GNR both 2002 and 2006 is like a well-oiled machine ready to tear your fucking head off. Axl was mediocre in 2002 writ large but the band was incredible more often than they weren't.

It's a shame he went to go do MMA and Trips did him dirty.
WWE is a snoozefest these days.

Axl sings side mouth, the tempo is off, and the band doesn't sound great. It is what it is but it's a step down.
When all you listen to is classical and Buckethead and then to the aging drunken blues it all feels a little dirty.

Haha nicely done! Fits the style of the proper Chinese booklet and uses the classic typeface.
I have an image of a hotel 'stay' as well with the title's fun wordplay. Stay of execution = not being executed and also stay of execution = 'my time here was an execution'. Who's to say if that wordplay was intended.
That's an interesting interpretation.
I thought Red Panda was a joke about Axl disappearing and of course his hair color.
Stay of Execution I thought something like a joke about Axl being late all the time and taking two decades to release a record. As in... not executing. A stay of execution.
Axl probably spent 5 years in his bunker just thinking up triple entendres for his trilogy of records.

I shouldn't listen to any more NITL soundboards. Too depressing.
Axl has no reason to ask Bucket back. Bucket would never do it. He got royally fucked. Too much pride/integrity. I'd like to see him get a payday though.
I think there's an alternate timeline where Axl and Bucket became iconic but sadly it didn't come to pass and now we're in the timeline where that never happened.
The only way a record gets released is if Axl nuts up and hires a manager. So... not in this lifetime. The dude has burned more wood than the clan.

Too much filler. Every other song is a non-GNR song.
It's almost like they aren't putting any effort in...
#768 Re: Management » Is This Forum Dying? » 425 weeks ago
The more people you let in, the dumber it gets. This is of course contrary to a healthy business model.
But MyGNR is basically unbearable to visit these days unless you visit off-topic. Same grandpas and grandmas circling like the old crows they are.
It had a brief period there where it was good, a couple insiders would come in. Then there became like 20 forums overnight. Too fractured.
This is the best one for sure.

I saw your post. American Nationalism and patriotism is why you're not speaking Russian or German right now. But go ahead. Please continue to attack him for recognizing the threat.
I'm guessing I was the lucky target of his ire?
I'll withdraw from the thread now because I consider them a waste of time, partially for those reasons.
I don't have all the answers as a person but I'm asking questions, being skeptical and critical of institutions, and reading as much as I can. I'd advise everyone else to do the same. Or don't, because the truth is generally disillusioning and terrifying. Your choice.
Honestly, I can't listen to any of Trump's speeches anymore. I hate the man too much to take anything from it.
His Warsaw speech was uncharismatic. He's not used to reading off a prompter or memorizing long speeches. I would argue you should listen to people you hate the most. You might learn something. Or you might just pull your hair out for 20 minutes but it's worth the gamble on occasion.
See you guys in the GNR section later on maybe.

Jackie Brown is his under appreciated masterpiece.
I can only hope this forces him to not rely on his old tricks as his last couple of movies have been for the birds.
