I thought "Beta sucks" was the most derogatory word you can use on an Axl fan?

Noooo... Silly you...

We all know that's two words.

Flying files in Axl Rose-Irving Azoff lawsuit

Files were flying in the messy lawsuit between Axl Rose and Irving Azoff, CEO and majority shareholder of Front Line, which was acquired by Ticketmaster in 2008. During a deposition, court papers recently filed by Rose's lawyer say, Azoff threw a stack of papers at lawyer Skip Miller, ripped off his own microphone and stormed out of the room when questioned about the merger between Ticketmaster and Live Nation and how it would concentrate power in the music industry. In March, Azoff sued Rose, claiming that he owed 15 percent of the earnings from a Guns N' Roses reunion tour. Rose says Azoff used his power to "bully him . . . to reuinite with the original members of Guns N' Roses for a reunion tour by purposefully neglecting and failing to market and promote" the band's first album in 15 years, "Chinese Democracy," but with new members apart from Rose, papers filed in LA Superior Court say.

This might end up being a very big deal. His actions prove it.

For the musicindustry, it would be interesting to see how this plays out in court.

For Axl's sake, I hope they settle out of court...

Ooooh... Axlites!!! The most derogatory word you can use on a Axl/GNR-fan.

Well, so be it. I guess I'm not "down with cool guys"...

I forgot to add Coma to that list, but even taking away the four tracks you call filler, it's still a better album.

No doubt Come is one of the best from UYI.

In a wierd way (and I know it's pretty out there...), I feel it's kinda wrong to compare UYI to CD at this moment in time. Thinking of how Axl views the whole CD-thing as a double, I feel I need part II before  saying one is better than the other...

All I know at the moment is for almost two years, when I listen to GNR, its 95% CD...

People who think UYI is inferior to CD need to pass that crack pipe my way.

Dust N Bones
Don't Cry
Back Off Bitch
Double Talkin Jive
November Rain
The Garden
Civil War
14 Years
Yesterdays
Breakdown
Pretty Tied Up
Locomotive
YCBM
Estranged

CD cant hold its jock strap.

Really?  That's your top UYI songs?

Dust N Bones, Back Off Bitch, The Garden, 14 years. I would absolutely call that fillers...

Just goes to show GNR-fans are a varied bunch of people!

Yeah, yeah, yeah.... bla, bla, bla...

We've heard all the analogies before. They were old back in '01-'02.

Now in 2010, they're just not in touch with reality...

It has really worked wonders since '93...

I'm denying reality, I'M DENYING REALITY??!??!?!

That is absolutely rich. The only people living in a Phantasm-like dream world are Axl, you and the rest of the HTGTH fanatics, who still think that Guns N' Roses has existed in the last 14 years.

I'm the Tall Man, smacking you over the head with reality... the game is finished, welcome home... BOOOYYYYY

I saw GNR in '93, '06 and two times in 2010. That's reality! What you're thinking of, is preference... No matter how many block-letters you use.

Much of the complaints and comments from fans about what should have happened and WHEN they should have happened all basicly boils down to either our own interest in seeing them succeed OR seeing the new-GNR fail.

Right after the VMA-performance, Axl basicly said: "...soon is not the word, we'll do some more recording and see how it goes..."

And while some fans sat and watched that performance thinking THIS IS IT! NOW, STRIKE WHILE THE IRON IS HOT!! It was obvious that Axl's timeframe and intentions was totally different.

If Axl was a "strike while the iron is hot"-kinda artist, there are SO many things that would have happened in the past 10 years. Not just thinking about the album...

The fact still is, 8 years later, GNR are still playing big venues all over the world!
