Again, Pitman did not want to tour anymore. Even the last tour. He wanted to stay in the studio. There's no reason to bash the guy. He had to deal with dumbass, douchebag trolls and lashed out.

This. And he apologized for lashing out.  And he hasn't said anything negative since, if there were ill will because he was replaced, why would he have apologized? Why isn't he on Twitter now bashing Mellissa?  And why did we see tweets from him twice during the hiatus showing he was in the studio with Axl?

They should have picked The Dark Knight returns or Death of Superman comics. Combining the two didn't work. They should have had the government after Batman and using superman to do it or they should have committed to a better Doomsday story with Batman and WW trying to help save Superman and the city. Too much in the movie. How many times can you show the Waynes getting murdered? One too many dreams. Batman obviously killed people in real life, not just his dreams. Which is a wtf. It's a shame. The actors all did top notch work. The pieces were there. Lex was just a tad bit over the top for my liking. Overall I enjoyed it better than Avengers 2 or Iron Man 2 or 3.

The Batman scenes were classic though. Especially when he was saving a certain "witch". Ben killed it as Bruce.

I actually think that combining dark knight returns and the doomsday story worked. I mean let's face it, there's nothing new really to the death of superman other than monster goes on rampage, superman dies defeating him.  I also, surprisingly, like Luther.  I went in annoyed that we were getting a fifth superman firm with Luther as villain, but I ended up enjoying it, because it's a version of Luther we don't see a lot anymore, the golden age "mad scientist" Luther.  I didn't think the madness was to much because I suspect it's a setup to the Justice league movie...  he knows Darkseid is coming, I suspect it's part of what's driving him mad.  The dream sequence was kind of a wtf moment, totally out of place.  But I suspect we're going to see the other side of that sequence in the Justice League movie. I suspect that "dream" was a vision of either the future, or a parallel reality, brought on by the speed force because of the flash traveling back in time.  If I'm right, and that's the seed to a time travel/multiverse story, than I think we're in story for one epic Justice League flick, and a movie that might make SvB better in retrospect.

This story gained too much traction too quickly.

There was "chatter" in certain circles about AC/DC putting out feelers to Axl right after the Brian Johnson issue. Then when the pic of Axl in Atlanta hit the net, fans start speculating from here to Timbuktu, it takes off from there, and now some fans practically have him joining AC/DC for a tour and they're gonna do Back in Black II.

They're going do Back in Black II????  YES!!!!!!!  :-D

Dude, I haven't met one single person that doesn't think Trump isn't the savior of America. Including Democrats. The only naysayers i've seen are the conspiracy types that, are correct, in pointing out Trump's many evils over the years and are convinced he'd be Mussolini for a President.

A good amount of registered Republicans loathe this man. Can't stand him. Find him obtuse and obnoxious. Dangerous.

If you think that the GOP will come out en masse to vote for Trump, and at the same time democratic defectors will cross the line from the left side of the aisle to vote for him, you're completely mistaken. If he was going to "Crush" Hillary, polling data would already show that, but it doesn't. On the other hand, polling data consistently shows him obliterating the right wing field, which he has.  However for the GE the latest FOX NEWS poll has Hillary at 47 and Trump at 42. NBC has Clinton at 50 and Trump at 40. Quinnipac has Clinton on top again at 46/41. However, that's today. The election is still a long ways away.

You're also completely ignoring the reality of the electoral map. If you keep NV, OH, CO, IA, FL, NC, VA and WI as toss up states, that still leaves Hillary at 241 walking in the door. And that's me being very generous with WI, IA and NV. (if I included those three, which I'd say is likely, she's at 263 to start)

If Trump does beat Hillary, it's going to be by 30 points or so, and that's really difficult math for the Republican party to pull off.

Edit: and while all the alpha-male posturing, trash talking other cultures and misogyny made him a darling with the GOP, that same narrative will be used against him 24/7 by the DNC. The Latino vote btw is one of the largest growing demographics, who the GOP desperately need, that Trump has completely alienated from the get-go.

Very good points.

I'm Latino, and you're absolutely right, he alienated me, and all Latinos in my community from day one, with his comments about Mexicans being murders and rapests. But... he's been growing on some of us since.  For me it's because he's taking on crony capitalism, for others, espesically my friends in law enforcement, they believe he's the candidate that will be toughest on defense. There are a lot of Latinos in law encouragement and the military - I think he's getting a lot of that vote.

I did find him obtuse and obnoxious at first, but I've found that it's just his debate personality.  When giving one on one interviews, he has a much different demeanor and can be down right charming.

I also thought he would be dangerous, now I'm covince he IS dangerous.  But not dangerous in the sense that I believe he'll start a war with Russia (in fact at this point he actually seems like the candidate less likely to do that) but dangerous in the sense that he's going to shake up the establishment. Big changes in government can be painful at first, but I'm of the opinion that we must suffer a bit if we're going to save our democracy from crony capitalism.

I'm actually a registered Democrat, and I'm pulling for Sanders here.  But if it comes down to Trump vs Hillary, Trump is getting my vote.
1. I'm confident he's going to be a centralist republican
2. He's campaigning against crony capitalism, vs an establishment candidate that I do not trust any longer.

On his current poll numbers vs Hillary, they're close, and they have time to improve before the general election.  I expect Trump to lean centralist once he gets out of the primary - I don't think that's a big assumption considering most candidates do and because Trump was a Democrat not so long ago - and that lean will help his numbers. He'll also pick up more votes when he starts hitting Hillary on her e-mails and on Bengazi.

@cramer - I'm sure he's lacking significant "know how" - but I'm but sure he'll be able to bring in staff that can compensate for his knowledge gap.

Also, the exchange between Rubio and Trump on Obamacare was weird.  Rubio argued that Trump didn't have any real ideas on healthcare, other than "getting rid of the lines, whatever that means".

Wtf - that's the idea. Create competition and allow the market to reduce price.  That's the idea. And that's the most conservative of ideas. That was the idea that republicans presented as the alternative for Obamacare - now Rubio doesn't know what that means all of a sudden? Wtf?  Why press Trump on that? What was he looking for? A lecture on free market economics 101? Does Rubio not believe in free market economics?

Bottom line, you make covering pre existing conditions mandatory - you allow carriers to compete nation wide. Carriers that can't afford it will fail, carriers that can make it affordable with succeed - that's the market system - that's how you make things affordable.  Rubio "doesn't think that's a realistic idea" because the healthcare lobby doesn't like the idea. Crony capitalism.

Trump comes off as very bitchy and effeminate, the way he pouts and waves his hand around. I don't understand the appeal.

Couple things I like about Trump
1- He's calling out crony capitalism, which is major problem no other candidate is talking about, because they all need help financing their campaigns
2- I think he made some good points on foreign policy,?how we've destabilized the region.

Trump is funny, he's not as articulate on the issues as a career politician, but if you listen closely, he does have some interesting ideas. Likely he's carasmatic enough that it doesn't matter that he's not articulate.  End of the day, a lot of people vote on emotion, so I wouldn't count him out.  I also wouldn't make the assumption that he's dumb and doesn't have ideas. Trump is a successful businessman, and he's proven to be able to get big stuff done.

Will those skills translate to politics, who knows. But it's definitely interesting.

Absolutely! Seriously, is there anyone who's seen this debate and still thinks Trump has any real ideas, or even remotely knows what he's talking about? Previous debates he won by shouting and insulting the other candidates, but when they stop holding back and play the game by his rules he holds up about as good as a wet paper towel. Will we be seeing Trump-bot meme's now?

Omg was that debate a slabberknocker, I'm glad I tuned in, I haven't been this entertained by a back and forth since the Eminem / Benzino beef.

Yeah man, I was really disappointed that didn't happen too. And I was hoping it was going to be more than just a one off.  But hey, it still might happen, we shall see.  If I read anything else about it, I'll update the thread.
