I honestly don't recall these ill words Richard spoke of Slash. I do remember him pumping up the band during the CD era, saying things that didn't quite come to fruition. Who of us didn't though, right?
No offence meant mate, was just merrily waxing lyrical under the influence. A wee bit like Dick when he was talking down Slash... *cough..."especially because of that book of his." 
But hey I dont expect there to be much record of it online, considering how utterly worthless Richard's pre- CD interviews were, who'd fucking save them?
Remember Dizzy's dear old auntie posted at HTGTH? She was much more interesting in the pre-CD years than all Axl's employees put together

Richard shit on Slash a few times over the years, he hadnt even met him and he made some barbed comments towards him in interviews based off what Axl's camp was wailing and whining over. Bet he wishes he kept his mouth shut, but to be fair, if theres one thing that Axl's employees have proved, is that they dont just have a brass neck, they have fucking rhinoceros hide's on them!
Dizzy must be pissed at this reunion, no longer will he get the 2nd loudest cheer during the band introductions, to the back of the queue you go tambourine boy

Jeez that's underwhelming.. to put it fuckin mildly! Haha what a load of horse shit. Kinda thought tho it was too good to be true this early in the cycle.. If they even play over here. Without a festival attached to it I doubt there's a market for a stand alone GnR stadium show in Ireland. People would readily travel to England/Scotland for a show if there wasn't an Irish date. But yea that stupid cocktease for a lame freakin competition is crap!
