The Jets have two good receivers, so that says to me it could easily be another year where Favre throws just as many interceptions as he does touchdowns. While trying to learn a new system he's gonna try to force things more than normal, and normal for him is already high for the rest of the league.

Just saw this as a news report on my fantasy site.
Kyle Orton will start the Bears' preseason opener on Thursday against the Chiefs, the Chicago Tribune reports.
Analysis: Obviously anything can still happen, but this announcement has to give Orton the early lead in the NFL's least impressive quarterback derby in recent memory.
As a Bears fan, I really don't know what to say when I read this stuff anymore.

What I did was Type "guns n' roses" into the "search itunes store" box.
In the upper left corner of the display on my itunes it says "all results" and "Power search"
Right under that is a box labeled "Artists", in that box it says Guns N' Roses, Vitamin String Quartet, Studio 99, etc. When I click on Guns N' Roses in that box it takes me to the page we were talking about.
You'll know it when you see it. The background changes to black and there's a big GNR logo in the middle of the screen.

It took me a while to figure out too. After you type in Guns N' Roses, you have to click on Guns N' Roses under Artists. That takes you to a page with a long paragraph, the Chinese Democracy reference is just the last sentence of that paragraph.

Going gold is when the game goes into production. Usually 4-2 weeks before ship date. usually 4 weeks for the popular games that are likely to sell tons, 2 weeks for the rest.

Very good time frame you established there, and seeing it like that makes me wonder why GNR didn't throw the track on Itunes in the initial excitement over the track. Doing so would not have affected game sales one bit. I realize deals have been made with Rock Band, but it still doesn't make sense to waste that buzz. Other than confirming the track would be on Rock Band 2, they didn't give one iota of info.
I figured Azoff would realize that the whole "mystery" thing is old.
Yeah, I think it was a wasted opportunity. Unless there's some sort of major add campaign (for Rock Band, not GNR) coming up as the release gets closer, but that's probably money they don't need to spend. Any hard core gamers who'll want it release day most likely get their info from the net anyway.
In this day and age it would have been super simple to throw a single on itunes, or at the very least announce a timeframe for when a single will go to radio.
The game is going gold any day now, so its possible some sneaky bastard could get his hands on a copy right away off the production line. Spore for example, comes out september 7th. But is going gold sometime this week

I tried to find a Faces album for at least six months. Any time I was in any store with cds I looked. I never found it. I felt just like you, with the rock pedigree of that band how can it be that hard to find.
I'm completely glossing over your actual point, but I'm still pissed I can't just go out and buy a Faces album, because the one that I finally just burned from one of my friends is fantastic.
I take that back, one Best Buy in the area had a box set, but I didn't want to have to pay $50 to hear it.

I don't EVER... EVER... want to hear ANYTHING... ever again about Lemmy being God.
The reason Lemmy Is God is because he can bring in C.C. and it'll probably still be cool. More specifically than that, it'll just sound like Motorhead always sounds.
If I ever hear what Axl did with Shaq and it's cool, then I'll elevate Axl to god status as well, but I'm not counting on it.
I'm very intrigued by Mike Inez though. Two bass players.... Big Bottom!

Wow. I'm not even a BH fan and I wouldn't mind hearing that. I saw someone mention that fact that Sorry, sans Bach, may be floating around as well.
I'd love to hear more of that 02 stuff though. I wish a version of The Blues with the old intro would leak. I'm totally cool with the 06 intro, it'd just be nice to have both around.
New intro would be perfectly fine if I had never heard the old intro.
I think the old intro kills the new one though.
