when you consider that Merck made a comment when IRS first leaked, something along the lines of "It's not A-list or top 10" or something like that... seems odd to me that it ends up on the album if thats the case

these are obviously either the 14 strongest songs or the 14 that sit together best ?
perhaps we will see the rest as bonus tracks or somesuch?
We've heard 11, in fact the 11 we have heard are the only ones of this era bar Silkworms and OMG that we have heard. So therefore, this is probably the truest representation of what CD can be - if that makes any sense at all? So im pretty happy with it
Either that, or there arent as many quality songs in the arsenal as we've been led to believe

My opinion:
Just as I imagined - quite amazing the similarity to what has been described with the bike all these years.
Hard to see the detail, but i'm liking it. Artistic looking and understated.

im sure there are major improvements as to what we currently have. Im also looking forward to hearing the thing the way it was meant to be heard - as a whole
must say im surprised that TWAT isnt the last song, but Prostitute is still a logical choice as well

and the song is called 'Catcher' and not 'Catcher in the Rye'??
