If Axl respected his fans he would never no show gigs, he would never bitch at his fans in tweets, he would go on at a normal hour when he plays a show. Those are just a few ways he does not respect his fans.

As for promoting his album, he started playing less and less  CD songs as the tour went along, and three of those songs he kept playing he was been playing for almost 10  years.  How is playing songs live even promoting the album? Those people are already BUYING tix to the shows and most likely bought CD.
And he has been doing the CD tour since 2002 you can hardly claim touring is promoting the album since Axl is not even promoting this tour. You never heard Axl talking about it now do you?

Axl does not do interviews, there is no video, he disappeared for a  year after CD dropped, yeah he really promoted this album. And no those forum chats dont count since, like I said, only the  die hard fans who post on the boards read about them.

CD flopped big time, it has only sold 3-4m world wide, and has not even sold one million yet in the US, that is a huge flop.  And going platinum does not mean anything, that is just for units shipped not sold, and some countries you only have to sell 100k to go plantium.  This album was expected to sell 3m in the US alone, and its only sold that much world wide, how is tht not a flop for the so called most anciciptated album of all time and an album that cost over 13m and took 10 years to put out?

It flopped by everyone's expectations.  The label didnt care because they made that deal with BB that made their money back for what they put into it.

He needs to attract the causal gnr fans, that is what he is not doing.

The official site has not been updated with news since DJ joined about a year ago.

Why not add all of the DJ, Ron, Tommy interviews up.
Have Axls twitter account live on the site, so the site is active?

They shouldn't announce one f'n thing in regards to a new album or tour unless it is concrete official. Personally, having a carrot dangled in front of my face for ten years was enough. All action or nothing.
