To be honest the whole band bar axl could bail now and it probably wouldn't make much difference. They're not writing, recording, touring, promoting or even partying together. Even if there's a confirmed release date, then what? Can't see them doing much promotion so unless they're going to tour....

'Marketing' are always changing the logos. A lot of internal documents are out of date with the latest branding or corporate guidelines. Its not a big deal.what's the big surprise anyway? I think a lot of us expected that the band would 'aim' to release it this year. Plus its only a forecast, not an official release schedule

Do you think the previous leaks we've heard are 'final'?
I used to think that Riaydh, Song 2 and If the World were fairly close, but now I think they sound good, but not by any means the final product.

This album reminds me why I started drifting from rock/metal a few years back. They bring nothing new to the table. Hell I can handle not getting something new, but at least give us a fresh take on things.
There's still some great stuff out there...I think bands like Porcupine Tree and Opeth bring lots to the table..their musicianship and songwriting is outstanding, the thinking man's metal maybe

I'm starting to wander whether GNR were forbidden to talk about this in the press or fanbase until the game is released. Why the hell wouldn't you promote your first new song in 14yrs otherwise
If he's holding out in order to lay the blame on someone else if it doesn't work out then Axl is more of a pussy than I originally thought

One would hope that when RB2 is released Axl or GNR will come out of hiding and actually start doing some promotion...if not I think we can forget CD again for this year

That acoustic November Rain should have been released with LIES. I actually like the song that way. Much darker and sad.
