Axl was crushed by the lukewarm reception Chinese Democracy received.
He has no motivation to release anything plus, there is less than zero chance he will write new material with Slash and Duff.

I was too harsh on Manson.
I`m not his big fan but I like Pale Emperor in fact, I think it`s his best album since Holly Wood.
His schtick and Industrial formula are tired. He`s at his best when he channels his inner redneck.

Thanks. As for APC, Mer De Norms was brilliant, Thirteenth Step was half good half bad, Emotive was a waste of time.

Does anybody know what exactly did Billy Howerdel do in the studio for Axl ? I know he`s credited for TWAT but it`s vague what his job was.

Axl will have a final say no matter the producer which means he will be able to scrap any work he won`t like.
Most likely he and Caram will produce the next album.
