Eventually, time will render the 06 tours a total waste of time. They gave the fans a show, but in the end they did all that touring to promote absolutely nothing

Instead they think its a sinking ship so they need to charge even more for a CD, to try and make as much money as the used to. I agree, they fail to realize that the increase in prices is whats driving consumers away.

Its a vicious cycle.

What do you guys think of this album?

I downloaded it recently and was pleasantly surprised. Duff is certainly an excellent songwriter. Should this album ever see the light of day I'd definitely buy it.

My favorite songs include 'Who's to Blame,' 'Rain,' and 'Mezz.'

I hate paying $17.99 for a Queen CD that was released in 1977, has 10 tracks, and has nothing inside but a two page booklet.

Sure, the music is amazing, and is a joy to listen to over and over again, but if I paid 10 bucks for it I wouldnt feel ripped off.

cool, awesome video. Anyone got a recent picture of Nico? Does she look anything like her dad?

The new tracks that I've hear are pretty cool. Havent had the time to download em all yet.

I used to download from limewire in late'05 maybe. After youtube came around it became easier to listen to bands music and see if I liked em, which is what I used limewire for.

I dont even have limewire on my pc anymore, I just look up bands on youtube and then buy their album if I like em.

The record industry needs some serious help. Some people say it needs to change, I guess it does, but I wish it would go back to the way it was before.

#89 Re: The Sunset Strip » Rock of Love exposed as a scam » 923 weeks ago

I watched the show, it was pretty stupid I have to admit. I don't think people watch "reality" TV for the reality, its just a form of entertainment. This show, and maybe some American Idol (which sucks, especially as of late) are all I watch as far as Reality TV goes.

MTV is the worst of the bunch though. Every show they have on is a reality TV show. I haven't seen a music video on there since June, and I even heard TRL was gonna get canceled (hell, that show only shows 10 second clips now anyway).
Vh1 isn't much better.

I actually think Bret was a bit of a scam as well. I read that he did not call Jes at all in the 6 months following the ending of filming. He called once to ask her to do the reunion, and a manager called to get Bret his hat back if I remember correctly. The whole show was bull shit, but like I said before, it was mildly entertaining, and something to watch while I was on the computer or playing my guitar.
