If the worst you can tie to trump is that in 50 years of real estate, he didn't want to rent to people on welfare (is it cause they were black or because poor people destroy their properties. I'd love for SLC to try to avoid this claim. He's our resident real estate expert), that's pretty fucking good. Someone in the DoJ accused him of discrimination. No evidence or conviction was ever put forward. 40 years from now I'll bet you'll claim the Ferguson riots were due to racism too. After all, Holder's DoJ accused them of racism. No evidence or case they can point to, just a feeling and you swallow it.
He signed and agreed to a consent decree, which amongst other requirements stipulated that Trump had to publish ads in prominent papers and magazines how their apartments were also available to blacks, hispanics and other minorities. The decree was seen by everyone as a major victory for the government and the fair housing act at the time. At the time only Trump considered it a victory for himself, claiming that since the decree did not include an admission of guilt, he came of scot-free. So your analogy is completely flawed: it is only now that people have started arguing that his actions were not racist, not the other way around.
But more than his actions in the 70's, consider the plethora of other reports, such as the one about how one of his casinos was find $200k for keeping black employees of the floor when a high roller asked for it. I'm sure you can go and shed doubt on each and every single one of these stories, but consider how many there are. Even if you wouldn't be able to 100% substantiate all of them, is it not clear that there's a pattern here?

Even if you want to maintain that Trump himself is not a racist, you have to admit that he has abused the latent racism present in a part of the constituency to win this election. That in and by itself is inexcusable.

Most of them were verified by reputable news sources, eyewitnesses, or video. I did consider some could be fake, but there's no doubt it's happening.
Our reporters have witnesses several that we didn't write about in our newspaper.
In one instance, a Trump supporter spit on our reporter outside Trump Tower in Chicago. We chose not to report it.
Well, that's disheartening then... Although Buzz is right about the people on the fringes getting all the attention, so it's still very likely a limited phenomenon (I hope). The play is art, not his statement. And nobody is suggesting he is not allowed to do it, he's just being called out for being an ass.
That's a bit of a silly distinction to make, of course they aren't going to change the play to comment on the election outcome. But it's the artist's platform, that's what matters. As for him being an ass, I disagree... he politely voiced his concerns and did not take any potshots.

Well, it's a good thing you mention it, because apart from greed, little has done more to hurt artistic expression than the leftist censorship campaign. Film makers and producers are now afraid to talk about certain things, in this society where freedom of speech is supposed to be one of the main virtues. Many countries have outright criminalized it. The UK in particular are throwing people in jail for all sorts of silliness. One town made it a hate crime to approach women.
We firmly agree on this, like I said before: although I'm clearly on the left on most social issues, nothing trumps freedom of speech and individual liberties for me. As a matter of fact, I happen to be of the opinion that those two things are one and the same: you can't be socially progressive if you don't believe in individual liberties.
That shit is exactly why Trump is President.
Yes, you're right. You're also delusional if you truly believe that Trump will change any of that, especially after his tweets about wanting the theater to be a safe space, not even two weeks after winning the election.

Really? The whole point of art is to challenge the status quo, challenge the ruling class. If you take that away, all you have left is bland entertainment (which admittedly also has it's role and place in society). Censoring art is the hallmark of an authoritarian regime, it is the very definition of enforcing political correctness.
Art and education should be two sides of the same coin as far as freedom of expression is concerned. Neither should be shackled by political correctness. At least be consistent in your disdain for political correctness.

I find it very strange that Liberals in the US defend the idea that you should be able to vote without proper ID.
