So F*ck Fear at least still posts on mygnr and I think a few others might still post (just not here).

Jessica randomly logs the forums every few years, she posted a thread on htgth a year or 2 back. She was great.

LLL randomly logged evo too a little longer back than that.

Backlash? He made that random post after years and vanished?

Elmir? I might have imagined it, but he has definitely logged in the past year or 2, but not post.

Jim Bob quit rov or evo after some argument years ago (I think) and continued posting on other forums for a bit (haven't seen the name since) in several years. Didn't like Slash and a big Finck fan (I might be misrembeing)? Curious what he thought about the reunion.

DoubleTalkinJive I missed. I know others might see it differently, but I think she was as important as anyone in the early days. It's a shame she didn't come back.

Axl4Life I assume went to college and smartly stayed away from forums like this?

Robman was part of the gnr2k crew with Efish (r.i.p.), Mandy ect. Not sure on his age, but he did traverse the forums as little as a few years ago (I think).

I wonder if any of the others are still active?

SkynardGirl I think you guys were too harsh on and from a different generation. I always remember her being cool. From what I vaguely remember it sounded like she had a fun life (hopefully still has). Her other half at the time she left was the singer of a certain cover band.

davegnr2k still posts on forums and on discord everyday.

I hope Communist China and Saikin are okay and live good lifes.

There have been rumors that Vince might sell the WWE.

Who in the hell would buy it?!?

I don't know how much it's worth but I know one thing....

It's overvalued.

It has several things going against it...

Very few people watch it

While less and less people might watch WWE than ever, they're making more and more money. They're making more than a 1/4 of a billion quartley during a pandemic with less viewers, empty buildings and bad vanity projects to blow cash on ect. They get like 50 million or something just for promoting Saudia Arabia as a family friendly place. A billion year each from diff us tv deals for raw and smackdown and they're shifting the wwe network to.nbc's peacock (thanks to a better deal).

US capitalism is keeping Vince-ism alive regardess of all the fans old/young bailing.

The company is worth a fortune. There's a chance nbc might buy it once the fox deal is up. Disney also might have interest when it comes.

As for wrestling dying? I also disagree. AEW is making a fortune from just being a start up a few years ago. Prior to covid indie wrestling was booming and in Japan njpw were running multiple domes/stadiums like the 90s again.

ROH is backed by sinclair, impact by anthem.

Only wwe was on the decline prior to the pademic (and the absurd record breaking cash negated everything else).

So some people are refusing it here and as a result I was given a spare jab today (despite not being in and of the 9 priority groups).

Got first dose of Aztrazenca.

Tiger Woods in hospital with 'multiple leg injuries' after car crash in California

Tiger Woods has been taken to hospital with leg injuries after a car crash in which his vehicle suffered “major damage”.

The Los Angeles county sheriff’s department said it responded to a “single vehicle roll-over collision on the border of Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes” around 7am local time on Tuesday. TV footage of what is believed to be the crash site in suburban Los Angeles showed a car with damage to its front end just off the road on a hillside.

Firefighters and paramedics freed the golfer from the wreckage using the “jaws of life” and he was taken to a local hospital to treat his injuries, according to the sheriffs department. Woods was the only person involved in the accident.

Woods’s manager Mark Steinberg told Golf Digest that the 45-year-old “was in a single-car accident this morning in California where he suffered multiple leg injuries. He is currently in surgery and we thank you for your privacy and support.”

Woods had been in California for a video shoot and had attended the PGA Tour’s Genesis Invitational over the weekend. Woods has not competed this year after undergoing back surgery in January.

Justin Thomas, a fellow major champion and friend of Woods, expressed concern for Woods and his children when told about the news on Tuesday.

“I’m sick to my stomach,” Thomas said at a press conference for the WGC-Workday Championship. “You know, it hurts to see one of your ... closest friends get in an accident. Man, I just hope he’s all right. Just worry for his kids, you know. I’m sure they’re struggling.”

The PGA Tour released a statement shortly after news of the crash broke. “We have been made aware of Tiger Woods’ car accident today,” read the statement. “We are awaiting further information when he comes out of surgery. On behalf of the PGA Tour and our players, Tiger is in our prayers and will have our full support as he recovers.”

In 2017, Woods was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol in Florida after he was discovered passed out in his car. He later pled guilty to reckless driving over the incident. In 2009 he was involved in another crash near his home in Florida, which led to news that he had been unfaithful to his wife. The fallout led to Woods losing sponsors and he took an extended break from golf to address issues in his private life.

The 2017 arrest was seen by many as a turning point for Woods, whose career had slumped since the days when he was one of the most successful athletes on the planet. Less than two years later a rejuvenated Woods won the Masters, his first major championship since the 2008 US Open.

A recent HBO documentary explored Woods’s relationship with his late father Earl, and the golfer’s struggles to cope with his worldwide fame and the scrutiny that came with it.
