Yeah, we get pX3, you're a gnreducator!!! I'm pretty sure nobody here thinks the real GNR's story was all milk and cookies, that's what makes their art & lives fascinating!

I won't buy it, but I'll definitely read it at Barnes & Nobles!!! I love every bit I can get about the real GNR, as that's the band that totally captured my imagination as a kid.

And the ever toubled Travis Meeks gets a mention in the linear notes! How appropriate.

I'm actually going to see Adlers band this August, so hopefully he staying the course. They're opening for Great White at this awesome venue along the Mississippi in Dubuque, IA. Probably won't stay for GW, but am wanting a pic with Steven!!! All my friends would just be left shaking their heads in amusement.

What a dark feeling to know that these AIC guys had the world at their feet and couldn't say no to themselves. Mike Starr had huge issues and it's sad someone with his immense talent went out like this. I wonder if the truth about Layne's last hours will ever come out now?

Who knows?

Some of those people are on there for weed...:haha:

And I'm sure Adler loves the exposure and pay checks.

I'd be willing to bet it's nothing like a SRV solo.  Nothing I've heard from him suggests he's capable of such a thing...doesn't mean he isn't, but he did a great job hiding it at a time when it would have been quite appropriate.

I'm pretty sure Axl meant an incoherent version of a SRV type solo.

Poor Stinson and Bumblefoot. I wonder why they just don't quit if it's such a terrible gig.....I wonder.....

Axl & Izzy joining VR would be epic. And I think that's far more likely to happen than a GNR reunion. With VR, it could just be an even 20% split for everyone...no business fights...no GNR drama...just a supergroup making music because they love doing that.

But yeah, I have no interest in Corey Taylor fronting VR and would rather Slash just continue his solo career if that's the only option. Basically, I want Slash solo or in a legitimate supergroup(w/ Cantrell)...meaning no Kushner or numetal singers for what is currently VR.
