That's my birthday, and I'm 4 hours from Dallas. I'd make the trip on even a 50% chance of Axl showing up.

I was about to say "Just go anyway - the worst case scenario is you hang out at a strip club for your birthday" but then I saw that you're a female!

Possible, GNR are behind this? They send this guy this info to get the net stirred up etc? Kinda how Trent Reznor did with Year Zero?

who the fuck is gonna just send someone a drive with all this shit?

I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case if it was just new tracks that had found their way into his possession. But the personal e-mails, royalties, financials, etc. don't seem like something that Axl would want shared. Granted we don't know the full contents, but maybe they paint Axl to be the victim (in his eyes, at least) and he knows he couldn't share them otherwise.

Another major snow storm to impede progress. arghhhhh...What a drag. about 1 hour ago via TweetDeck

ok guys run with this too !

Tommy lives in Philly.....getting hammered by snow I believe.

Tommy is "getting hammered with Snow"?? What's he doing drinking so much with a has-been Canadian rapper??? 16

Maybe the "snow" he's getting hammered with is cocaine! Implying that he has an out of control drug addiction and will be entering rehab which is why they'll call off the whole tour before it's even announced!

I agree, if true, this is fucked up. But when you consider it, as much as we enjoyed the CD leaks, it is criminal to screw over peoples interests like that.

I cant fathom it, I dont know what I would do in his shoes, I'm certain I wouldnt be unloading private and personal documents onto the net. We dont deserve to know everything, as frustrating as it is as fans of the band to feel let down and left in limbo so often as we do.

On the other hand, if you were one of these former band members and someone (either Axl, management, the label, etc.) were misinforming you about the sales figures and cheating you out of your royalties, wouldn't you want to know? We as fans don't have any right to that confidential matter, but MSL was reaching out to band members to contact him and hopefully this stuff will stay private. Also, hopefully it won't delay the release of any new album.

In the video he says that the memory card was sent to him anonymously. I smell BS.

Yeah, no doubt he knows exactly who sent it even if they didn't announce it. Kind of like the wikileaks soldier kid whose still sitting in solitary right now - the guy who sent it to MSL is the one who really has a lot to lose and given the few number of people who would have access to this stuff it shouldn't be hard to narrow that down.

MSL also mentioned something about a big whoop regarding Superbowl (which happens in Dallas, same place where that club is) and also mentioned that he has Axl's autobiography.

According to Google, the Lodge's phone is (972) 506-9229. Quick - someone call them pretending to be with Axl's entourage and try to scam some information out of them.

Shit, if I lived in Dallas I know where I would trying to get into on Feb 5th!

I find this hard to believe. If its true however and GNR do have big plans this year, this guys just going to fucking sabatage their plans? Why?
What a dick.

No, I don't think he's going to sabotage their plans - he's going to hold them to their plans. We all know GNR has had big plans for previous years as well and most of them fell through. If they do have big announcements to make in the next couple of weeks and then back out (leaving us in the dark again) this time we'll find out what was planned.

Venue: The "Lodge" Dallas' #1 Strip Club

and line 1 looks something like "Performance ....... high profile show at Creem...." maybe "launch party"?

Looks like a lot of verbiage about "Chinese Re-launch"

Yeah, on the side I see a page for "US Arena Tour" and "US Tour ...."

Also on the Feb 5th section, line 2 looks like "The Lodge" or "The Ledge" maybe. Possibly a song title? Or a show that will be doing an interview?

Interesting that they're apparently partnering with Creem magazine for promotion - I didn't even know they still published Creem. Looking at their web page, it just has some links to youtube videos for indie bands.

Also, I bet the MSL video will be pulled by youTube by the end of the day. Luckily I already d/l'ed it in 720p.

Wow. I think this ensures that CD pt2 will be released this year - if only to get it out before it leaks. In fact, knowing that its out there and could leak at any minute may actually force them to release it sooner than they had planned.

Possible track listing:
1. Atlas
2. Cuban Skies
3. Goin' Down
4. Jackie Chan
5. Light My Fire
6. Monstrosity
7. Silkworms
8. Soul Monster
9. The General
10. Thyme
11. Tonto

Are any of these titles new? Could "Goin' Down" be a new version of "Ain't Goin' Down?" Is "Light My Fire" a cover of the Doors song?
