I think the vocals are new. You can notice it doesn't have that much rasp, but still has a bit of it as well, just like he sings now. it's a more cleaned up rasp than on the 80's or 90's.

I also think the guitars are re-done by Slash. I think they wanted to keep it simple and not go away too much from the Original track.

I liked "Shadow of Your Love", the vocals are not as strong as the original demos (any of them including the Hollywood rose era demos), but they're solid. Also, the quality makes all the difference in the World. Guitar work from Slash is not amazing, but fits well in the song, and are still a bit raw as is the guitar work on the original demos. All in all, a very solid track and definitely a good way to promote the new Remaster. I always wondered why Shadow wasn't released on Lies, since it was such a good track. The lyrics are simple and savage, which really is what Guns N'Roses is.

This song deserved a proper version, and I think the band did it justice! I have been listening to it nonstop, and even bought the single on iTunes beforehand, knowing fully well that I will buy the super deluxe package.

I understand Why you're mad. I didn't even know if I had been banned here or not, but I did come here because I wanted to apologize. I had talked to another person about doing it, but I didn't know if you we're gonna be receptive to it or not.

Walker, you don't have to send me anything or let me hear anything in the future, I'm not doing this because of songs. I'm doing this because I know when I'm wrong, and this time I was wrong. It's the right thing to do. I just want to apologize to you for doubting that you were legit, and because I was rude to you (as I thought you were trolling me).

As for GNR, it's quite simple, I'll be honest! GNR are no longer my favorite band, however from time to time I see myself exploring it again, then I disconnect again, then I explore it again. It's a love/hate thing. I can't explain it. Sometimes it gets really frustrating, so I may have said some "not so nice things", I know I can be horrible sometimes When I'm venting shit. If I didn't truly like GNR I wouldn't be here.

I want you to know though that I appreciate what you just did for the fans, and I want to sincerely Thank You for that, not for me, but for all those people that I know that were very pleased with your gesture and that have been here for ages looking for this kind of gesture.

I can't imagine AFD without the double bass. I thought the bass wasn't as loud as it should be, but it didn't bother me. I  could hear the background sounds perfectly an all the instruments in the song. The Guitar volume is awesome too!
